got it on the cheap (12% of the price, because it was put up as aged stock). works great, clear bright ( sometimes too bright eg late at night and switched off eye saver) and just all round good good performance

I bought this monitor back in March 2018. I also purchased extended three year warranty plan to be covered. I also have a Samsung 24" TV which I use as a second monitor. I noticed early on that the 27" Samsung I purchased has some flickering in few sections of the scree and the picture on the 24" TV is actually sharper than on the bigger 27" screen. This was surprising to me.The flickering is especially visible on gray background and when the monitor goes into night mode. It's been getting worse but it was not to the point where you can't use the monitor. Nevertheless I though I paid for and the warranty, and would ask Samsung to do something about it. Talked to two representatives. The first one sent me to a shop that doesn't handle monitors and wasted an hour of my time for nothing. The second representative was much more helpful. He told me I have to send it to a repair shop, Samsung will pay the shipping, I have to wrap it well. We had some misunderstanding about physical damage of the monitor during shipping but we cleared this up. What I am not happy about is the fact that I have to work with one monitor for 7-14 business days (if Samsung keeps their promise). Compared to similar services I had with Canon and Dell this is a terrible way to treat your clients. At this present time I can buy the same monitor for 190$. Samsung is it cheaper for you to deprive your clients from their products and have them go through all the hoops for 190$. Something to consider. For my future purchases I am now going to stick with LG, Dell, and other high quality brands because Samsung likes to collect but not give back when needed. I was done with Samsung smart phones awhile back.Now I am done with Samsung all together!

Initially LOVED it after a couple months realize it SUCKS! Doesn't recognize HDMI ports and since there's no remote/utilities you're left to figure it out. Don't think I'll EVER buy SAMSUNG GARBAGE again.... Change my mind.

it is ok if you watch a video/movie but the resolution is so low that all the words in a word document or on a web page are blurry!

Poor quality, screen cracked internally with slight touch to turn monitor. Very disappointed with this product. Samsung will not take the product back and told me to pay to have it fixed.

Must have monitor for all needs. Servers the purpose of both a television and a great work monitor, I love the curved design and love the built in speakers and all extra features it comes with.

This product is a wonderful monitor the only problem I have with it is it's durability. I tossed something on my desk it bounced up and hit the screen. To my horror the screen broke, mind you I did not toss it hard or at the screen. I've had it for less than a month so I called to find out if there were any warranties covering it since it is still so new. After sitting on the phone for 5 minutes with the AI helper I finally got a rep to ask about getting it replaced or fixed. And the answer was no, so if you are prone to accidents don't buy this.

For the past five years I have been using a Dell monitor for my PC. My son said it was time I moved up. Boy was he right. The graphics are great. It's like sitting in front of my wide screen TV not my monitor. I did notice that there are some some color differences compared to my old monitor. Some of my games have more darker orange or red tent than with my old monitor but this has mainly happened to the cheaper game apps. My desktop programs such as MS Word or Excel and my browser appear sharp and clear. That is the part I have to get uses to. No more fuzzy distorted images making me strain to see. And finally the setup and operation, who could ask for anything so simple and easy to use. Thanks Samsung. DK

get slight distortion of type near top of screen or some pages probably to being a curved screen or ned to learn to adjust it in windows setting .still learning windows 10 .won this off the SamsungAu twitter feed. speakers on the monitor don't sound so good perfectly fine for a workstation or video and or skype calls though .wish manual said if was better to hook up to a computer via display port or vga or hdmi. I got it hooked up via hdmi cause only came with a high speed hdmi cable but amd freesync still enables on it via hdmi.

After hearing that my son had purchased a curved monitor and how he raved about it....I had to check them out. I did my research, including reviews and purchases on other sites, but this one was cheaper on the Samsung site and I went for it. It was delivered in a short time and as soon as I pulled it out of the box, I fell in love with it. I work at home and need 2 monitors to be more productive. I had been using a 23" TV and it worked fine....but not like this Samsung curved monitor. It was so easy to set up and I had already decided it would be the primary monitor with my all in one as secondary. I have 2 stands on my desk and one is shorter than the other. After a few days I changed the stands and now both the monitors are the same height. Thanks Samsung for this great monitor - I write reviews once in a blue moon but this had me at first glance and I am so happy with it.

Beautiful and bright display. Powered up quickly, and is very light. One drawback is that you cannot seem to swivel the monitor up and down, so you may have to purchase a different base or wall mount. I am sticking paper under the base to get it at the perfect angle.

I bought this 29 inch monitor at best buy after looking at monitors for several weeks and what I could not decide was if I wanted the superfast 1ms response time of a gaming BenQ monitor or if I wanted beautiful colors and a vivid game experience. I chose this Samsung monitor since I play all types of games from fps games like battlefield 4 to action based games like Skyrim and Bioshock, and boy, am I glad I did! The colors are absolutely magnificent which is as to be expected, if you have ever seen/owned any other Samsung products (like their phones. The curve makes gaming extremely immersive and seems easier on my eyes than a traditional TV. My spouse loves to watch me play games and we were worried the curve would stop her from watching me but we were wrong even with her sitting to my side she was able to see the whole screen since the curve is not overbearing and even the usual color fading when viewing from an angle was minimal if almost non existent. I cannot comment on the freesync feature as I am not using it since I do not own a compatible video card. Basically if your looking for the TL;DR..... Great monitor for gaming, not the fastest monitor if you need a super fast low 1ms response time 144hz monitor like some CSgo users prefer, However if you like to feel as if you are there with perfect colors and a pleasing and immersive curve then this is the monitor for you. The technicals on the monitor are pretty amazing. The blacks are dark, the contrast is great, the stylish frame looks sharp and the curved screen is slick! The 27" size is also great and easy on the eyes, which is important for me since I spend a lot of time in front of it for work. I can't say I have any complaints with it, I really enjoy the product overall and am so glad I purchased it. I may have to purchase a second one to match it.

after a long time, i am using a great computer product. this samsung monitor is creating an immersive experience. i am mainly watching movies in this monitor and its awesome. movie mode is more vibrant and clear and not incorrectly tinted to eyes. moreover, movies are playing good in curving screen which makes a lot different to me. though i have a 65inch samsung tv, but, i think, this monitor is far better than tv. may be, its near the eye vision on my desk rather than tv room distance. only downside is, this monitor has only 1 HDMI port. its seriously, a problem for me to connect all other peripheral like macbook or apple tv.
