Ran this unit off and on for almost a year....worked great up until it didn't. One night worked like normal, went to watch TV with it, turned it on, and the sub and two rear speakers refuse to work. Tried a software update, nothing since 2017 and already have the newest. Tired a factory reset, nothing. Of course, naturally....my warranty has run out a few months ago now. Definetly didn't get my money's worth from it I don't feel. I'm probably gonna end up replacing the whole system now :/

It does all of the necessary functions of a dvd / bluray / hometheater with more great sound and additional features. However, it is missing few perks such as wireless speaker and wifi connectivity (there is an Ethernet cable

We have had problems beginning with set-up. Had a hard time getting speakers to work. The wires were too thin to make a good connection. Had to double the wires over for the speakers to work. Connecting the unit wasn't too bad. Has pretty good sound. Didn't test out the DVD player for awhile since we have so many movie stations with Charter. When we finally watched a movie it worked okay. But, when we wanted to go back to watching our cable TV we couldn't switch back over. We could switch the mode but there was no picture on the TV. It said there was no digital optical cable (which there is. Anytime I change the mode it will not recognize the cable box / TV when I switch it back to watch my TV. I have to unplug and replug the HDMI cords, switch to different HDMI outputs on my TV until everything finally works again. Then next time I do something besides watching cable I have to go through the same process to get it back to the TV mode. The most recent problem I have is with the sound going out for a second or two while watching TV. It comes back on right away but does this frequently. A couple of times we had no sound at all. Had to turn the surround system off and just use the speakers on the TV. This is the most irritating problem! I have tried to find some sort of troubleshooting but there is nothing on the website or in the book to cover this issue. I would have preferred it being wireless but at least my smart TV is so that isn't a big issue. I will probably box the whole thing back up and return it to Best Buy!!!!!

I just upgraded from a Samsung sound bar. The new surround sound system sounds amazing. The Blu ray DVD player offers great options, is easy to use, and gives me great picture quality, all at a great price.

This entertainment system provides the sound we wanted when watching a movie or TV show. The addition of the Blu-Ray player is a plus. I would recommend this system to anyone looking for added audio support.

This product is great in terms of vision and features... However, there are so many sound issues... First, when watching anything other than the DVD or Bluray, the sound is not coming out of surround speakers.

Excellent home theater system and very easy to set up. The unit sounds awesome and I love the arc feature the best. I use my home theater for all my TV watching. Also this system is an excellent value and has Bluetooth as well. A perfect compliment to your Samsung TV.

I bought this with high hopes to be compatible with My new Samsung 55" TV and I was really disappointed in it. The sound from the sub was terrible the internet needed direct connection. We always watched basic DVDs and the first time we tried to watch a blueray bam! It starts shutting down saying protection after troubleshooting and doing all I could it has to remain on at all times to even have the sound for TV if you shut it off it goes back to shutting off every time you turn on. I read online this was a widespread defect and its related to a bad capacitor this was 6 days over a year and I am stuck with it. A lot of money wasted very disappointed....had high hopes with it being a Samsung product....

I have come to trust Samsung through phones, laptops and smart TV's. When I was in need of a new surround system I gave them the nod. It is full featured, has excellent sound quality and booming bass. The equipment is surprisingly small and fits nice into any décor. I have had this system for about 2 months and use it constantly. Especially nice is its communication ability with my Samsung 55in smart tv. Love it!

Great product except for one problem. There is a power saver mode that turns off the power randomly. It says that there is a screen saver that comes on before, but mine just turns off. I use mine as a surround sound for my tv mostly, and it seems to always turn off during a good part of a show. I looked in the manual and on the website for a way to turn off the power saving mode but there is no information to be found.
