I've been using the Samsung 870 QVO 4TB SSD for [insert time, e.g., "over a year"], and it's been a solid performer for large-scale storage and everyday computing.

While it's a SATA drive (not NVMe), it's one of the faster SATA SSDs available. Read/write speeds hover around 550MB/s and 520MB/s respectively, which is about the ceiling for SATA III. For gaming, media editing, or booting Windows, it performs reliably and without lag.

4TB is a generous amount of space, and for anyone transitioning from HDDs, the speed and silence are instantly noticeable. As a QLC NAND SSD, it offers great value per terabyte compared to TLC options, though write endurance is slightly lower. Fast, Reliable, Worth Every Penny
This SSD is an absolute beast. I upgraded from a standard HDD and the speed difference is night and day. Boot times dropped to under 10 seconds, and file transfers are lightning fast. Its not the End but an opportunity to better
I honestly expected more, or at least a fast download/upload speed from Samsung as it is i feel it really fell short of expectations, as an avid and loyal owner of many Samsung products I'd like to see Samsung step up their game!

I installed the 870 EVO and it was the fastest install ever. The Samsung Magician software allows me evaluate drive for read and write efficiency, which was a plus for me. This drive is being used to allow storage of my collection of blu rays and will be buying several more to create a NAS.
