Reliability. Performance. Cool looking heat sink.
It's an SSD. About as fast as a gen4 drive can get.

Years in and this 990 PRO 4TB is still rock?solid, fast, and completely drama?free, which is exactly what was wanted from a primary drive.

Cheap, reliable and more than enough storage.
I got this ssd on sale a couple months ago and so far it's been fast and reliable. Despite my technological incompetence I breezed through the install with the keyed m.2 connector preventing any mistakes. Two terabytes is more than enough for my boot drive and works quite well alongside my sata hard drives.

Best m.2 drives period.....
Love these drives! this one replaced a crucial 2tb mvne cause the m.2 from them would not work on steam the main reason for that drive. So now I got all my games in one place that reliable and of course I have back-ups for everything but I have 2 of these one is 1tb with my main windows 11 and the 2tb for my games etc...also sata SSD that also 1 tb and I never
have problems with your drives they just work and they are fast, fast.

Best NVME SSD
The product itself is one of the best NVME's in the market. The speed and performance is greatly noticeable. I use Samsung in all of my computers, mainly for gaming, but this product can be used for any application. Easy installation and quality control. Keep it up Samsung.

Hasn't failed me yet.
Purchased 2 years ago as my dual boot Windows/Ubuntu drive. Was noticeably faster for game loading times. Never used for heavy reading and writing but I haven't had any failures or heating issues so far. CrystalDisk says it's at 95% health so given the age and near daily use I'd say I'm satisfied with the price I paid @ 95USD for 1TB.

Great performance at a decent price (early 2025)
Purchased the 990 Pro w/ heatsink from Samsung directly and appreciated the local pickup option! Was able to order and receive the same day. Deprecated my HYNIX P41 2TB to storage and use this as my OS drive on my home desktop. Although is doesn't use the PCIe 5.0 interface, I'm sure the average end user wouldn't be able to tell the difference.

Great hard drive for the money
Running it in my custom built computer. Blazing fast loading for games. Read write time is great. The capacity is great for what I need at the 2tb size. It is compatible with most ssd slots in newer motherboards. It is reliable and the interface with Samsung magician is great!

Blazing Fast
The Samsung 990 Pro EVO 1TB has been an absolute beast in my setup. The speed alone makes it worth every penny-boot times are basically instant, games load in a blink, and large file transfers feel effortless. It's one of those upgrades you notice immediately.
Installation was super simple. Pop it into the M.2 slot, tighten one screw, and it was ready to go. Samsung's software recognized it instantly and made setup smooth.

Same reliability and performance you expect.
I have been using Samsung SSD products for about a decade and I have always enjoyed their reliability and looks. While 990 Pro 1TB with heatsync is no different. Ended up pairing it on an ASUS TUF B650M-E and it looks sleek in there. Performance has been great and overall what I would expect.
