One of the best purchases I've made while building my PC. You hear about the performance and reliability all the time, but words cannot express just how good these devices are. I've had the same drive for 3 years now, and it MUST be how efficient it runs, because I've ran through 2 different SSDs during that time, and on top of that... The speed is still exactly as advertised. 7GBs/s read and write speeds are a perfect throughput and I am fixing to get the new 9100 soon! I only wish that I had bought a bigger storage than just 1 TB.

I bought this ssd for my hp omen gaming laptop and it was the best upgrade I did. Fast and efficient, never had a problem

It's been extremely reliable, very fast read/write speeds and its made cleaning files and scanning files very efficient. Ive had this product for multiple years and I've had zero issues!

Upgraded from the 980 2TB back in Jul 2024 and I haven't looked back! The 4tb minimum is the way to go no degrade no lag just pure top tier performance you expect from a Samsung product. BF6, RE4, COD, AC all cruise without so much as a hiccup for hours on end. No overheat, no wear heatsink keeps the drive cool. The read wrote is blazing fast and loading screens? Gone I'll never move to another product line most reliable SSD in the game.

My PC finally boots up faster than I can regret my life choices. The heatsink is a nice touch; it's good to know that while my life is a dumpster fire, my SSD is staying nice and cool. It's expensive, but hey, if you're going to spend money to ignore reality, you might as well have low load times. 4/5.

The 995.0 5.0 in PCI Express X4 Gen 5 speed is the same as X8 so two times theoretically faster read and writes than four by four x. In reality the speeds are faster in the Gen 5 990 Pro then the 980 Pro Gen 4 but relatively speaking they are very much the same with the 990 having the upgrade but the 980 sti beats the cup petition

Nothing but optimal performance and low heat generation, and my gaming laptop utilizing these benchmarks is on par with expectations, speed tests on par, and so far in the last 6 months has been reliable

Performance is top tier. Transfers as advertised which is super fast. It exceeded my needs. Had the issue with firmware which is fixed now. And I couldn't afford one if I were to try to buy this again today. Overall fantastic drive.

I picked up this SSD as a gaming drive for my PC. The Speed and performance are great. My load times are minimal, and in general I'm one of the first people to zone into any instances or raids I play in World of Warcraft. Also I play stellaris, which is notorious for lagging or crashing later in game when autosaving. Its been minimal ever since I flashed the game to this hard drive. 5/5 stars, would absolutely purchase again.

The speed and performance of the ssd card are outstanding. The card seems reasonably efficient and very reliable. The throughout is considerably better than the previous generation.

Samsung ssd is great. I can load into games at a fast speed plus I have a bunch of storage to install games. Not really much I can say since it is a ssd but still a great product but other than that i love it.

I've just installed my new 990 Pro SSD and cloned my original (smaller) SSD onto it. It's now replacing my original C: drive. It was a painless process, and all is working well. What more could one ask?
