I loved the laptop overall. I'm going to use the laptop for my new job and it's going to be great. It plays games well, such as Tera and Final Fantasy 14. My only issue is that my laptop seems to have a bad CMOS battery, so it keeps losing track of time.

Pros, great processor/speed for the price. Comes with a dedicated graphics card* Plays Assassin's Creed on moderate settings. *Cannot install the catalyst driver for the video card, nor do is there any preinstalled software for changing settings on the card. Only evidence that it exists is on the hardware list in control panel. Some reseach brought up that it kicks in when certain applications are run. Suggest doing a little of your own research if buying this for the graphics card. Cons, no Number lock indicator. Knew that before buying but didn't think it would be a pain as it is now. Also, its probably just my hands, but when using the keyboard, the edge of my palms touch the mouse pad so it throws off the cursor. I have to hold my hands in an uncomfortable position to type. Windows 8 sucks, just a personal con. Feels a little flimsily, need to put a little effort when pushing in usb devices. If you're looking to play some games or heavy software on the run or hook it up to large screen HDTV, and are on a budget this is a great system. Don't let my half empty cup review dissuade you. If you're looking for something just to surf the web, get something more sturdy but without dedicated graphics but with a lower grade processor, i3 perhaps.
