Great Concept, broken hinge after 1 year. Bad engineering on laptop hinges. Wonder how many of these pro laptop have this issue. I really wanted to keep laptop longer if I can use it as intended, but not when it can not close the laptop anymore after right hand side hinge slowly crack open with creeking noise if I try to close it a little more. Not going to close laptop, because it may crack if hinge not closing on the right side. I must say the timing is bad, as this is no longer under warranty! Disappointed with my first Samsung Laptop.

I purchased this as backup for my Surface Book Pro because I could only use it with a keyboard. This has soon turned into my main laptop and I have been very impressed with it's performance. It's exceptionably fast, very sleek, and super portable. Take advantage of using all of the cloud services to keep from too many items being stored on the system.

i was looking for decent performance, durability, mobility, and quality. overall performance is solid. very light weight and travels well. as an it pro who needs multiple screens and to use for 8+ hours a day it is horrible. every time it goes to sleep i have to restart. every time i disconnect or connect to multiple screens i also have to restart. great laptop if you just need it for an hour or two every once in a while. and yes, i keep it updated on all drivers and have sent in to tech support.

low rating due to failed wifi adapter twice in 6 months, resulting in over 20 total hours of troubleshooting to fix. samsung tech support did not help -- google did. when it works, its great. when it doesn't, you are at 100% work stoppage (because everything requires internet which isn't useful when your wifi adapter is no longer recognized) and there is no physical support (tech repair site) available.

i really like everything about this pc with the exception of the overheating issue. the bottom gets very hot and there is not enough vent for the cpu. the small vented area is on the bottom only and not a good design.

This laptop battery has been degrading since I bought it. The interoperability between Samsung products, like quick share and second screen do not function as promised. The computer gets super hot, the fan is REALLY loud, and the battery dies in less than 3 hours. I only use the charger that came with it. Can not recommend this product.

Nice oled/amoled screen but it is in 1080p instead of 1440p. I like the 16.9 ratio to screen, because watching videos in full screen without the black bars on top or bottom in the way. And I got the 1tb model at Costco instead of the 512gb. Can somebody answer this question "Why does the 1tb of this Laptop is only at some big company store like a Costco and nowhere else to be found the most I found was a 512gb model with the intel evo i7 core chip?". I also like how fast is this compared to my old Macbook air 2017 model. But I'm worried about the screen burn in reduction that's all I have to worried myself.

I got this laptop in blue when it first launched due to the awesome Samsung Financing options. This is a very handsome laptop which even got some curious looks from other passengers on my flight. This thing is THIN, like smartphone thin. Only the top is aluminum and it does have some flex. I see little key shaped marks on the screen from the laptop being squeezed into my backpack, but they arent permanent scratched and cleaned right off the display. Keyboard. The keyboard is very satisfying to type with despite the incredibly short key travel. The 0 on the number pad is a little awkward due to it's position. I love the backlighting on the keyboard as well. The keyboard itself has a little flex but not noticable with normal typing. Track pad. Big trackpad... maybe a little too big. It's very accurate and i'm impressed that i'm able to use to effectively navigate my charts. The main con has to do with the thickness of the laptop. If the underside of the trackpad flexes at all (and it does very easily) you will actually click the trackpad. If I use this laying down with this spot on my belly, it will often "click and hold" until I lift the laptop up off me. I just dont lie down with it anymore. Battery. Charge time is fast with Thunderbolt. There is even a "protect battery" option that only charges battery to 85% if you like to keep yours plugged in constantly. Battery life is disappointing, but I am running a hog of a program all the time. I dont know the battery life for things like watching movies and web surfing, but other youtube reviews seem to find it acceptable. The thermals... Due to it's thin-ness and the programs I run, it's understandable that the fans would run constantly, but it feels like it's cooking me. I cannot use this laptop directly on my lap without experiencing extreme discomfort. It's a thin little laptop with tiny little fans. I'd gladly sacrifice some thin-ness for better cooling and a less annoying fan. A thermometer reveals the top left of the keyboard to reach over 100 degrees F. The bottom is even hotter and my "made for humans" thermometer kicked back errors when trying to get a reading from the underside. Display is great! Bright and vivid. A little too vivid for me. As mentioned, I use this laptop to trade stocks. But with the default RGB setting the red lines on the dark background of my charts was messing with my eyes. Thankfully, the Samsung Settings in the laptop allow me to switch to Natural RGB which helped tremendously, and the picture is still amazing! There is some bad glare due to the glossy display. I would have preferred a more matte display to cut down on the reflections. Speed. FAST! Going from Off to fully booted is less than 10 seconds. I have the i7 with the 16gb ram. These are soldered and the ram cannot be upgraded. I run the following on this laptop and never experience any noticeable slowdown (there's an exception to this statement): Think or Swim (notorious battery and memory hog), Discord, Firefox, Tradovate (less demanding trading platform). I have all of these open at once while connected to two external monitors. Memory usage only shows max 52%, which is impressive; however, due to heat dissipation problems you don't get to enjoy the full power of this laptop! If I do not use a cooling pad I do begin to experience lag. If there were a way to upgrade the thermals and provide more room for airflow I would do it in a heartbeat. Overall, i'm very happy with this little dragon. I use it more like a desktop than a laptop and it barely protests. Couple in the 0% APR with Samsung financing and this thing fits my budget the way nothing else would (i'm not a shill! Just compare financing options against the likes of BestBuy, etc.. You'll see.) I would have preferred something a little uglier and bulkier with better thermals and battery for the same price, but that financing sealed the deal for me. If money isn't a concern and your laptop needs are "above casual" I would honestly check out some other options. I know that heat is a killer of electronics, so I worry for the life of this laptop based on how got-dang hot it gets all the time. Pros -Lightweight -Fast charging -Thunderbolt -Connects 2 additional monitors using HDMI and USB-C to HDMI -Fast -I mean Very fast! -Brilliant display (so brilliant I had to change the RGB to "Natural" in Samsung Settings) Cons -Gets very uncomfortably hot! -Very high pitched noise coming from fan which runs constantly -Trackpad can be accidentally clicked by pressing underside of laptop, like when picking it up one handed or by resting it on your belly (I trade stocks on this laptop. Accidental clicks can be dangerous!) -Poor battery life when running my trading platform.

this galaxy book pro works great. it's fast and super light. the only reason why i only give 3 stars is the following: if you go to the specs information, under "display", you will see a "yes" next to "touchscreen". this is actually one of the reasons i bought this one, i wanted a touchscreen laptop without it being a "360" one. but now after a few days of having it, i realized it is not touchscreen. you guys should check the website and change that information as it is inaccurate. also, i contacted a representative through the app to ask for this and make sure i didn't have the touchscreen option disabled; it's been more than an hour, and instead of assuming that this is a mistake, he/she would just make me wait forever.

i picked this up on black friday. screen is amazing, very fast and is so light weight, you can't believe it until you pick one up. internet with wifi6e works perfect. mine also came with a 1 tb ssd. build quality is as good as it gets 0r needs to be. but the screen is just great. plenty bright for everything we need. only weak spot is the speakers are a little weak. mine update out of the box, and that really helped. highly recommended if you are looking for a premium laptop. i also own an apple mac pro m1 and i think this one is everybit as good and fun to use.

i was really excited to receive this unit today. once received, i popped in a usb stick to load my custom windows 11 image. you are not able to boot to usb with this bios. i have attempted 6 different usb sticks in different configurations, however none of them worked. called samsung, waited 17 minutes to speak to someone. conveniently as i was in the middle of the call, the agent hung up and the call went right into the survey. he attempted to call me back but his call again failed. this laptop has caused me a lot of heartache for attempting to perform a simple task, so it is bring returned to samsung.

I've had this laptop for 2 days now and so far it's working great. The display is great and the sound is loud enough. I did buy a mesh stand for ventilation (gets a little warm when charging, not too bad) and this keeps the laptop speakers off the surface which helps with sound quality. I would have preferred to have a USB-C/thunderbolt charging on either side of the laptop like my samsung chromebook vs just on the left side with this one (my wall socket is on the right when in bed) . Overall, I am happy with this laptop but not so happy with the buying experience on this website. The layout of the website is confusing. I availed of the first responder discount, but I would have gotten an extra discount if I used my student ID. This was difficult to figure out as there is a different sign in for each discount promotion that they provide. Plus, the price of the accessories went down a few hours after I got mine and continues to change in price every few hours. I was unable to cancel my order and reorder or get the new lower price when I called customer service. They need to make their website more user friendly.

super lightweight, portable, sleek fast. there is a lot to love about this galaxy book pro. i am very pleased and no doubt recommend this product. however, i gave this product 4 stars. 3 reasons. 1.) the laptops speakers suck, full blast volume and i can barely here what is being said through my zoom meeting, have to use my wireless earbuds. 2.) webcam, really? i mean really, this thing is worse then a 1998 flip phone camera. very disappointed. 3.) tends to get a bit hot at times, would like for it to run cooler. if you have on your lap, could get a bit warm for comfort. overall for the price, its a great package. hope they improve on the next one.

Also they made the charger much smaller and lighter than previous versions. Hey Samsung where can I get a second above mention charger for the road? If you are hesitating, don't!! Buy one.

Overall this is the best laptop I have ever had. My usage consists of school, work, entertainment and some light gaming. Design is sleek, lightweight and thin that I love but the build quality can be sturdier as it flexes at the bottom quite a lot. Speed is fast and doesn't run very hot. Battery is pretty fine but last all day most days. Fans don't run very loud. Keyboard is actually great as it is firm enough and not loud. What I like the most is the integration with the Galaxy ecosystem as Quick Share between my phone, and tablet is super convenient for school work. Having phone calls, messages and notifications shown on my laptop is a must. Price is also reasonable for its specs comparing to Surface competitor. I highly recommend Galaxy Book Pro!

I am very happy with my Galaxy Book Pro. I was using a Chrome book prior to buying this one. I was happy with the ease of use the Chrome book offered but some programs did not work seamlessly. The upgrade in display was astounding. I also have a Samsung phone and syncing my phone while I am writing or working on a project to just type text messages back is a nice time saving tool.
