So, I got this thing, right? This Samsung? 'T7 Shield' SSD. Four terabytes. Four!
?Y'all, that's more memory than my whole family tree combined. I'm talkin' every embarrassing Christmas photo, every regrettable text message since 2004, all of it. Four terabytes.
?And they call it the 'Shield'? 'cause it's rugged. Like, supposedly you can drop it, spill your Hennessy on it, let your kids use it as a hockey puck? and it's fine. I'm holdin' it right now, feel like I'm holdin' a tiny, black brick of Invincibility.
?I'm thinkin', this is it. This is where I hide my secrets. If the world ends, and the aliens land, and they're lookin' for the sum total of human knowledge? they gonna find this little rubber box. And it's gonna be just? hours of me tryin' to learn how to do a TikTok dance.
?Four terabytes. I don't even know what to do with all this space. I feel like I bought a mansion just to store a single pair of socks. But hey, at least if I drop the mansion, it won't bounce. This little thing? It'll be fine. It's got a shield."

Slow speed after 1-3 year
After 1-2 years using this portable ssd, it started becomes very slow read and writing speed. while the other one I used still functioned normal

Just as described
Works great. Good transfer speed and works great for my video files and holds plenty of them with space to spare with this capacity. Has held up well to getting carried around and dropped more times that I should admit to.

Compact , Durable
TB is more than enough for me, and the portability makes it that much better. The case is well built. I dropped and kicked accidentally several times. It still operates as though it's new. Great buy!

Awesome durability
Durability is what I needed and thank God these got that covered! I used to have a Toshiba but it disconnected and fell to the floor leaving me with a loft expense to get my data recovered. I switched to the T7 shield and so far I've had no issues! (And im prone to dropping things so this one has definitely taken a few tumbles.

Easy to use
This portable storage is seriously a tank, and super fast too. I've dropped it a couple of times already, and it's totally unfazed. Plus, transferring large files is a breeze with its speedy read and write capabilities. It's small enough to fit in my pocket, making it perfect for on-the-go backups. Great performance in a small size!
I got a pretty good dral on this drive a year ago and I really like it. It has enough capacity to store whatever I need and the performance is just mindblowing. Also I like how it's durable and like the possibility of encrypting the data. Comes with 2 cables, which makes easy to connect to both to my laptop and to my galaxy s22 ultra.

This external hard drive is just fantastic! The speed, the encryption, well it's really amazing! However, I have to say that the disk management application is still to be perfected, and why not add an option that depending on the connected device will or will not require the password?

Reliable, Fast, and Shockingly Durable!
I purchased the Samsung SSD T7 2TB to store and organize a large amount of graphics for my graphic design business - and it has quickly become one of the most dependable tools I own. I now use it to keep three separate backups from three different computers, holding every file type imaginable. The speed is outstanding. There's absolutely no lag between the SSD and the computer. It genuinely feels like having an extra internal hard drive, just externally connected.
When I upgraded to a docking station, the T7 connected seamlessly, even when I switched to a higher-transfer 80Gb USB-C to USB-C cable. No setup issues, no compatibility problems - just plug and go.
Now for durability: this thing is unbelievable. My black lab puppy got ahold of it and turned it into his personal chew toy while we were out. I was sure everything was gone. But when I plugged it back in - it worked perfectly. Not one corrupted file. Not one issue. My heart restarted after that one!
If you need something reliable, fast, compact, and tough enough to survive life (and pets), the Samsung SSD T7 is absolutely worth it.

A no-regrests purchase!
I can use my Samsung SSD to take my PC games wherever I go without the need to download them on multiple computers. I don't have to worry about the drive breaking and losing everything on the drive if I accidentally drop it. It works flawlessly across all brands of windows machines. I just plug it in and immediately I have access to all my installed games and software. With 2TB of storage, I've never needed to stress about whether I have the space to install new games or software that I want to take with me wherever I travel.

Honestly no complaints
After using the side for awhile now ive had absolutely no issues the 1 bad thing ive had happen is the silicone case on it has like warped but it doesnt effect anything and id still buy the ssd agian it has more then enough storage for all of my uses and is compatible with all the devices I need it to be like phones pc ect ect and transfers stuff pretty fast I cant complain
