Finding the correct samsung software is almoat impossuble and the hundreds of alternatives all say my Motorola g7 android is not compatible. So i am totally unable to use the camera. Waste of money for me.

Rcvd the 360 with my Note 8. Used it once. The next time I tried to charge it, it will not Charge, or Turn On. I see this is a common problem with no resolution.

My friends are jealous whenever I post a 360 photo or video. The clarity is amazing and the ability to see 360 when you are on top of a rope bridge or skyscraper is unreal. The battery could last longer (full day) and need a larger microSD so we don't need to download images during trips. I would recommend this product to my family and friends.

About a year after I purchased the 360 it stopped working. The camera will not turn on at all. I've tried all the YouTube vids out there nothing has helped. So. Didnt even use it that much either..

The camera itself is very nice. However there are very limited settings you can change. This could easily be changed with a software update. Things like shutter speed and ISO can be controlled on the galaxy phones under pro mode or even any regular camera, but there is no such thing for the gear 360. This is essential to take any professional photos.

I bout this gear 360 about 4 months age seem to work great. but went to use it today and it wouldn't start up or even charge..I looked up online to see if I'm the only one experiencing this kinda problems and I'm not, there's forms out there all over the place of others people's gear 360 experiencing the same thing...save your money and don't buy.

I love this camera , I really enjoy using it. The video quality is really good. The device is small and really convenient to carry . It gives a 360 view which is cool and creates really neat looking videos and photos. The setup was simple, the app is easy to use. This camera is alot of fun to use . It is also durable, I have dropped it a few times and it didnt hurt it at all.

I have used this camera approximately 5 times. The last time i used this camera was about 6 months. I pulled it out for a resent trip and was unable to get it to charge or power on. I spent a short time on the phone with customer support...Not really support...and was told sorry its out of warranty. $70 to fix. How can a camera become unresponsive after only a short period of use? I researched the issue and it seems to be a bigger problem that Samsung is unwilling to acknowledge. Why no recall or free replacement for an item that quits working. Ive used and been proud of using Samsung for many years, but this experience is very disappointing. I would not recommend wasting money on this product. I guess it makes for a fancy paper weight.

The camera is nice in making 360 video and snaps, but after some time it stops powering on and doesn't charge at all. But really worse is Samsung warranty service, finally, they replaced with a used one. I'm never getting unreliable product of Samsung ever.

This is advertised as a 4K camera, but 4K is really when you add up all the directions. When you shoot 360 video even with highest resolution, the video looks good when you are viewing it in normal 2D 360 mode on your phone. However, when you watch using Samsung Gear VR or any other VR using the Oculus app in 360 Side by Side format, the quality of the video is so horrible that even faces of people more than 10 feet away can not be recognized. You can not tell if its Cindrella or a Ghost - really - just see fuzzy bright bloblike face. We used this camera to our Disney trip, and shot 360 videos during the day time in full sunlight. There was this disney parade which I shot from curb side (5-7 feet away from where characters walk), and can not really see facial expressions of anybody - actually not even face and just could recognize them from dresses. People within 2-4 feet distance look fine thogh. I am not sure if this is because Oculus's app's handeling of the Video in side by side format, or any other app, but this happens regardless of what VR headset or app I use to watch VR video. Overall the 3D 360 video's result is even poor than a flip phone camera that were available 10 years ago with less than 1.2 Mega Pixel resolution. This is my second Gear 360 camera. Second because I had Samsung Gear VR this time, and hence expected better VR video experience (had given first camera to someone, so had to buy second camera). Now stuck with two cameras which cant even return. I would say this is far from 4K, and far far from Virtual Reality. The camera shoots good videos in 360 mode, but then when the software opens the video in side by side format, it loses all quality.

This has got to be the most useless product. Taking pictures with both lens is ridiculous. The lens stick out and are easily damaged. My phone takes better pictures and videos. People are selling these on ebay (preowned) dumping them

I just sent in my brand-new Gear 360 camera for a warranty repair and specifically stated that not only does it overheat and automatically shut down sometimes, it also fails to make recordings over 8 minutes although I have a 64 GB card in it. For example, if I leave it on for 30 minutes, I'll have four videos (three for 8 minutes) on my SD card. It obviously gets worse if I try to record longer, and most of the time I need it to record for at least an hour. I sent it in for repair and just received the supposedly repaired unit today. When recording, it isn't overheating (yet) or shutting down any more, but it's still breaking up the videos into 11-minute segments instead of one continuous recording. I've had several of your phones and recently purchased an expensive washer and dryer set from your company, but I'm EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED in how you handled this failed repair. I'll keep this in consideration the next time I'm reviewing product purchases.

I have to admit, how can you complain about a new gadget that you have received for free? This is an excellent companion gadget for the Samsung Galaxy Note 8! It shoots in sharp vibrant crisp 360° 4K Video! It's perfect for capturing everything you want people to see without compromising the quality of the shot. The only thing missing is a hand strap to attach to it, but other than that, it's perfect!

This is a great little unit, and could be even better if it had manual control. I would love to make better timelapse sequences, but without manual control, it's too limited. But I do like how it can be operated independently of the phone. Interchangeable batteries would be nice, but the feature I want the most is manual control for better video and timelapse. I also wish it had either a microphone input, or the option to use audio from the phone (so I could plug in a good microphone). Hopefully a firmware update will allow manual control in the near future.

My camera came free with my new Note 8. Im glad I didnt pay money for it. When recording videos, you can not zoom. In addition if something is more than 10 yards away, you can not see th subjet of your video. If you use the program to edit, good luck. Not very compatable. My phone taks better video and pictures. My outdated camcorder produces better results than this digital 4K resolution piece of cr@p

Tried many times, but could not update the firm ware. Downloaded successfully, but could not copy to the device. Also, it said either downloading by cell data or wifi, but failing to download by wifi. Still keep it in the drawer.
