Love the camera and distance it goes
this is the 2nd time the battery has expanded so the back won't close completely.

Poor Quality!
this monitor has very limited range. if the camera is more than 30 feet away, the picture goes in and out.
now the battery has failed. when i opened the battery compartment i found the battery severely bloated looking like it was ready to explode.
samsung wont respond to my requests for information on how to obtain a replacement battery.
very disappointed with samsung. i have previously held them in high regard but clearly my trust was misplaced.

Swelling Battery
after three years, the li-ion battery swelled and after reading about swollen batteries, we wanted to replace it. however, replacement batteries are not available and other reviews online are saying we need to contact samsung customer service. but, the battery apparently swells in this model repeatedly. it was good while it lasted i guess.

Very disappointed
i agree with everyone else on here. our monitor stopped charging and even if we hold the charger in it very shortly starts beeping with low battery the second the charger is removed and will quickly die. i started using the app but it does not have the same features. the camera itself also has a black line through it even though there is nothing visable on the camera. we are expecting our second baby and am very sad that we cannot just add a camera and seems that we have wasted over $200.

Waste of money
joining the band of people that thought this was gonna be a good product. But it ended up being absolutely garbage. Very disappointed.

Do not buy, poor product.
Same as most of the others on here, monitor started losing charge quickly or not charging at all. Bought replacement charge cord to no help. Finally opened up the monitor (nothing hurt as it was past warranty) and noticed the connections have lost contact with internal circuit board. Unfortunately, you need MICRO-soldering ability to fix this issue. Not easy to buy replacement units or get fix from samsung.
5 stars to Samsung on the fact they timed the warranty period our correctly. Seems all reviews mention units that stop working RIGHT around a year. Thumbs up.

Don't buy this thing. Despite all of the negative reviews I still bought it. The screen stopped working shortly after purchase and won't take a charge. I was also told they won't replace it. Literally buy anything else. Even 2 cups and a string would be better than this thing.

Great Baby Monitor
I have had this for two years now and haven't had any problems til now. The battery is swollen up and I can't find a battery for it yet. I just started looking today and I went to samsung parts online. They don't list it, so I'll try to get a hold of them and see if they can help me. Great monitor though. Everything works great and the picture quality is great.

Very bad hardware. Features ok.
I bought it a year ago and the problems started from the very begining, The usb cable never plugged in well, had to request it being changed and the battery is overblown. Now the back cover will not shut because of this
