The unit is built around a 3MP progressive-scan CMOS sensor, which works in concert with digital noise reduction and a 100-degree field of view to deliver a clear monitor feed. The low-light performance is aided by 12 IR LEDs, giving the camera an effective night vision range of 25 meters, not to mention true day/night modes, SSDR contrast enhancement, and variable shutter speeds to let in as much light as possible.

The camera's housing is rated to IP66 ingress-protection standards, meaning it's considered suitable for outdoor installation and can operate in temperatures from -22F to +140F and in humidity levels up to 90%. The housing is also designated "IK10" for impact and tampering resistance.
