this tablet runs very slow since new. it is slower then my 5 year old samsung tablet. i have to say that is very average.

I bought it open box. &, since the previous owner had factory reset it, (with the security still on it), I can't get past the log in screen. It will only unlock with the previous owner's Gmail. (I understand why it's designed this way, but If the previous owner returned the tablet, there should be a bypass!!!) So my rating is 1. Get a human to answer tech support, (with a solution) and I'm certain my rating would go up.

I have had mine 3 years. Traveled around the world. Use it for web and movies (via the mini-SD and streaming). Strong wifi connections, decent interface. I mostly live in the apple ecosystem, so I get bogged down in the android settings/interface but I love that android provides more granular control. Drawback is the back and 'tab' buttons next to the home screen are accidentally hit often, since they are flat against the glass and touch. 16GB is small, but easy to expand :)

This is the worst piece of computing equipment I have ever owned! It simply DOES NOT WORK! You have to triple tap or more everything and when you do, it takes forever to change screens to see the info? Very frustrating! I perform the included Device Maintenance 3 times a day with no help! I even added a Android cleaner and still no help! The only "good" thing is the battery life but then again, what good is it if it doesn't work! Awful tablet. I will never buy another Samsung product AGAIN!!!

Got this tablet as a birthday gift in March, 2019 .. I came from the Ellipsis 8 HD from Verizon, which has superior cpu and ram specs, and similar internal storage capacity and screen resolution .. The Ellipsis was thin, required a lot of On-Cable charge time, and a very gentle touch though .. The Galaxy (unlike all the S series devices, and on par with the Js and Core/Prime series) is TOUGH as NAILS !! and this Battery doesn't know the word "can't" - 7.3 AmpHour !!?? The thing isn't light, not at all - she wears her weight well, however, Its all in the hips and the other curves (nahh it's in the battery - but I ain't complaining) .. She's old, running Marshmallow, easily rooted, and showed up by the younger siblings easier and easier as the time goes on - but this machine WORKS and will be in my arsenal for a long time to come .. GOOD WORK SAMSUNG - It's like the Chevy 350 ci V8 - It works !!!

This tablet is a joy to work with and works well with WiFi . Samsung internet is easy to use and the android apps are good. Microsoft apps run well and the SD card can store files.

We bought this for our son and daughter and it works better than the tab A my daughter had before. If you don’t use the exact charger that came with this tablet it takes all day to charge. We only have official Samsung chargers and only the charger that came with the tab E charges it at a regular speed. Why would you make this feature Samsung other than to be a pain in a parent’s butt if kids loose their “original” chargers? Really?? We already paid $200 for the thing and kids loose stuff like crazy and I don’t want to drop $30 for multiple chargers when I already own multiple “official” Samsung chargers that will NOT charge this Tab E at even regular speed. Come on Apple doesn’t pull that junk! Consider this the last Samsung we will own.

Pros: the tablet is a nice size and screen is bright. Cons: The display of icons and games feels like you are using a samsung galaxy note 2. Also, the camera really really really really sucks. I have a note 9 and the display is great camera is great! But, this tablet took me back a bit it feels out dated and the colors display sucks compared to my note 9. I would not recommend this to another person. I hold samsung products to high and this has let me down big time.

The sound is a bit to be desired nothing to write home about. I wasn't expecting great sound but I think they could had done much better. If you are looking for a decent Tab with average display then try this one out.

I bought this device as a gift to my father who lives in Israel. I sent it directly from Amazon US to his Israeli address. Device was working for few weeks and then died. I had to call to customer service for Samsung US (which is offshore service center that barely speaks English), because Samsung Israel doesn't care about devices that bought in US. So my father sent it back to me, I sent it to RMA repair, they fixed it and I sent it back to my father. But before I wanted to check that device is alive and finished setup process by login with my google credentials. When my father got a device he was never able to unlock it even after I told him my google credentials. Stupid unauthorized access protection kicked in (probably because device was on overseas WiFi). And again Samsung customer support in Israel doesn't care, in US don't even able to speak English. No help at all. The only option is to sent device back to US for RMA repair/unlock. Totally disappointing in Samsung

I wanted a bigger screen tablet and this one comes highly recommended but it is slow to respond and closes out the current screen I am on frequently. Granted I am not tech savvy at all so will keep working on it. Hopefully it will improve as my skill level improves. I find it a little heavy also.
