The 4 start rating is from my research. Huge tv,all the essentialsame and more, and you save from no 3D, which is something I used for about a month. Don't miss it at all. I'm looking for a deal, big screen, and I likeep the back light adjustment. Who knows how many ppl have had the screen problems. Deff a thing to look into. This review is mainly on the review that Adorama pointed out up front over "no offense" but a review that told us it worked out of the box, I would expect from a same size T.V. that you will find for $800 at a big box store. I'd expect it to work. After a couple of screens and probably a month w/O your new baby! That really made a difference for me as a person looking to upgrade from the 1st Gen 3D T.V. by Sony. I've never had an issue out of this 60" Sony for almost 5 years now,had a 52" single bulb projection style that I had from 2002 tI'll a house fire in early 2012. Had to replace the bulb one time. Before that one I had one of the first flat screen TV's that seemed to weigh a ton!I handed it down to my brother and he's still using it today. Making it approx 18 yrs or so. For me I've had fee complaints and no more than an oil change with Sony. So for me to upgrade to Samsung it would take something big, although Samsung has been a step ahead for a while. The Sony review is strictly speaking from my experience only.
