the worst product i have ever purchased from samsung. i bought 4 of them during this pandemic at the same time for each of my children. we have been cautious. it has a station, and one day i woke up turn all the laptops on to prepare to homeschool, my children. one of the laptop screens was messed up. i decided to send it in. when they got it, they told me, “it's your fault” .... no customer service at all. and that my warranty is not going to cover it and it will cost me $150 to replace the screen. bare in mind that's like buying another one... um no. money down the drain. samsung needs to do better!

it sucks, i use these for school daily. the school had provided these for everyone foronline school. this laptop is slowest laptop i've ever used, as it cant handle 3 tabs without lagging the zoom call badly.

for how cheap this device is i'm astounded at the specs it can pull off, great value for a great price. not the strongest but its only really for streaming video and work/schooling. again the screen is that screen that gets dark if you look at it from below and gets lighter when looked at from above, infact im writing this on the chromebook 3 right now!

i bought as a gift to my daughter for christmas 2019. after that, kids had to go remote due to the pandemic.. well, this chromebook suck!! problems connecting to wifi, after warranty expired now its frozen and wont allow her to login. tried charging completly, resetting, restarting, rebooting and nothing works. dont waste your money.

it works well enough to watch youtube and surf the web, at a slow pace. the video player on yt tries to play in 4k which i'm fairly certain this display is only 720 or 1080, though i don't think that's the fault of the device. the battery after a few years lasts about 5 or 6 hours.

We picked this up on Black Friday for our daughter for Christmas last year when she was in first grade because they were using them in class and the teacher suggested getting one. They have been using them more in second grade for many different programs and she navigates easily through it. We were grateful we had it when the kids were sent home from school and it is used every day google classroom and Zoom dancing.

This laptop is horrible. It is a cheap design. The battery life is horrible. One say it just stopped charging. I did nothung to it, it just stopped. I do not recommend.

I recently purchased a Chromebook 3, as I needed a laptop during this COVID 19 pandemic to do my work from home. To start things off I am not a laptop guy. To be frank I have not used a laptop for several years and I typically did everything on my Galaxy S9+ and that has been working like a charm for me until now. If you are purchasing this device just make sure you have the proper expectations. I needed a device for Emailing and video calling for my meetings. The Chromebook 3 works like a gem! I also enjoy the fact that everything is cloud base content, so I do not have to worry about filling up my internal storage. If you are seeking a device that operates with a similar platform as your Galaxy phone. This is the laptop for you! The ONLY downside for me is that I wish the screen was better quality. I guess if I wanted that I could have upgraded to a little bit more costly device. So I wont complain, just know that when viewing content on this Laptop you do have to fine the "Sweet Spot" for your viewing angle. Aside from that, enjoy your new Laptop!!!! You will not regret it!

I purchased this chromebook last night because I have had a lot of good experiences with chromebooks previously. So far I am pretty dissapointed, every time I go to type or do anything, everything moves very slowly. My main concern though is that I cant get it to charge because the charger wont stay in the laptop. I have to constantly adjust it because I look away and the laptop is once again not charging. I dont think its a problem with the charger, it just seems like the laptop itself was manufactured to not fit well with the charger. Very frustrating, I dont know how im supposed to charge my laptop over night when the charger seems to be too small for the charging port.

I have been a loyal Samsung customer for years. both my wife and i have note 10+ I am waiting on my s20 ultra to ship. galaxy watch, buds, and TV. I love every Samsung product i own except my Chromebook. i had to get the changer replaced out of the box. keys are not working. its very sluggish. the long batter life is a joke, mine wont last more then 3 hours. i got this Chromebook for school but i end up doing 90% of my school work on my note 10. I would not recommend anyone wast there money on this product

I cant even describe how basic this computer is! My phone is capable of doing much more than this computer! Any smartphone can easily replace this computer. Everything requires a downloaded file/app. This computer is really just there for the keyboard access for typing basic papers and searching google! My 10 year olds skills out grew this computer within the first 30 days. Wasted my money i couldve bought a used Apple computer and it wouldve been a better investment! Theres no way to leave zero stars!! Samsung Should stick to TVs they really stink at everything else.

Bought this about a month ago. opened it up about 2 weeks later. The screen constantly blacks out. The screen is still on, however there is no display. Just blank. Laptop is fully charged, perfect condition. But from the very moment it was received I have not been able to use it for more than 20 to 30 minutes at a time without the screen blacking out. The only thing i can do at that point is completely turn it off, close it, then reopen. I have done a full restart multiple times. I'm contacting them tonight to see if it can be serviced. I really hope they can fix this problem. If they can't, then this device is completely useless to me. Which is too bad. I was very excited about this chromebook, and so far I've only been continuously disappointed. I really hope I can come back and update this review later to be more positive.

Received the Chromebook the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Was so happy. Followed all the instructions, but much to my dismay the Chromebook wouldn't charge. It would not turn on. The light would turn green, but once I opened it the light would revert back to blue. Regettably had to return it to have another one reissue. Anticipating a replacement.ARAMY

I just bought my third Samsung Chromebook 3 in about ten years (averaging 5 years life). I use it daily for research, entertainment, limited document creation and video support for a class I teach. It is absolutely a great tool! While my buddy is warming up his $500 laptop, I turn this on for instant support. I see that Samsung has created enhanced versions...but for now, this one is perfect, at a great price. Thank you Samsung! You made my computer purchase and usage a wonderful experience.

I got it now about a week or so ago and am pleased with it; although, one disappointment is that you cannot attach an external HD or CD drive and even took it to Best Buy where the technician told me that its not equipped to handle that type of connection even though there is a port to accept. Very disappointing!

It was a ok laptop and definitely good for the price but BEWARE of the subpar performance and restricted OS. If I were you, I would want to be dead set that chrome OS would work or purchasing this product is not a good idea. Linux programming capabilities were restricted and thermals were poor. Screen and keyboard are OK. PS everything is made of plastic and gets NUMEROUS scratches. If you want to buy it, buy it on black friday for 129$.

The screen was wonky when I received it, as of today, the screen is broken and is not usable in anyway. This was a free chromebook for switching to Verizon FIOS.

This computer was bought for me for christmas of 2018. It has worked pretty good. The only bad thing I have to say is my charger broke for it and it's very hard to find. Yes amazon has them but that's the only place you will find it. Personally im scared top purchase one on the off chance it dosnt work.

I bought this about 3-5 months ago, and it is working great! The speakers are a bit weird because they are on the bottom but regardless this chromebook is working great for its inexpensive price. Only thing i would change is where the speakers are located. Other than that this is a great device that is portable, fast, and slim. Thanks Samsung! p.s.
