Shopper : can you get microsoft office on this tablet?Linda B : I tried to download a window app for tablets from the app store , but was told that I did not have enough memory. When I checked setting to see how much memory I had it said I had 11.6 mb of memory, more than enough to download the program. What do youthink is the problem? ?Romeo R : Its Windows 8 Not Windows 8 RT so yes you can. You can even get office on the Windows 8 RT Tablets its just that you cannot run regular programs on Windows RT only programs from the App Market and Office is one of those Apps. There are 3 different flavors of Windows 8. Windows 8 RT, Windows 8 and Windows 8 Professional. Windows 8 and Windows 8 Professional supposedly can run some if not all regular windows programs.ERIC L : yesGARY G : This is an Android not a Windows operating system. Apps are available that let you use and create Microsoft Office compatible files.TOM A : Please check with Samsung Tech Support.CLEMENTINE E : You cannot install Microsoft products on Android operating system. On the other hand, you there are at least two apps that offer "office" like functionalities. You can have a look at the reviews on the Google apps store (play . Google . com) if this is important to you (like "office suite"). Those apps offer basic office functionalities, great for working on the go or review existing documents. But they do not offer elaborated functionalities. Note that this is also true of Apple tablets.
