I bought the 27" Odyssey G5 monitor (LC27G55TQWNXZA) back in November of 2020 and just decided to come back and leave a review. At this point, I've gamed on it for hundreds of hours and it's still going strong. At 144 hz the monitor still looks great No dead pixels or issues of any sort. 100% recommend this product.

I use this monitor daily for gaming. streaming, 3d design for my printers. The picture has a little to be desired when it comes to the hdr brightness but it is beautiful. The extreme curvature of the screen really makes the monitor feel almost projected around you. The only gripe I really have is the stand. The legs are long and awkwardly pointy while the movement is limited to just a tiny degree of tilt with no vertical movement. Other than that very solid and would recommend.

Having three of the 27" G5 Odyssey Gaming Monitors on a 3 monitor stand, the experience is truly immersive. For gaming, the 144 Hz, Freesync experience is second to none when paired with my mainstream AMD gaming computer. One wish, however, is having the monitor become undetected on the one input when set to the other. For example, when one monitor's set to HDMI for my work computer and two others are set to my gaming computer over DisplayPort, Windows on my gaming computer still detects three usable monitors. All in all, I enjoy my 27" G5 Odyssey Gaming Monitors.

I mainly use it for gaming and live streaming sometimes on Facebook, but having a matter that goes up to 240 HZ per second is the best thing ever. Only thing I'm waiting for now is 4K at 240 Hertz ??

There is no sacrifice for frames over quality with this monitor, for a solid price you get a solid monitor! Apex legends is smooth and elden ring looks stunning!

It is a nice monitor, but has an engineering defect. After about 7 month of usage the screen is getting of the frame. This is a commune issue and the customer support is dogging the fact that Samsung has a manufacture defect. You can search online and see that there are thousands of customers with exact same issue in exact same spot. Don't buy it.

I bought the monitor for new pci built for work. And I'm very happy with it. Excellent picture quality. Work perfectly with no issues whatsoever. Full of options that make the monitor great choice for work or gaming. Highly recommend

I'm going to be honest and straight to the point. If you are into quality of the graphics. This is the one for you! If you are into competitive gaming. Go get a 244hz monitor instead. Otherwise the quality of graphics are awesome. Love it! Easy to install and use.

I bought this monitor to use mostly for work. I was using 2 24" monitors and decided to consolidate into one 32" curved display. I have no regrets in switching. I am able to have similar screen real estate without it taking up a lot of desk space. It's also so light that if I ever need to move it, I can do it easily. Only downsize was that it was hard to put the stand together with the monitor. You really have to put a bit of force into it in order for the clasps to fit in and stay in.

I've had this monitor for about 3 months and, like another reviewer, it was great for that time, but then I noticed a dead pixel, and soon found out that Samsung doesn't cover dead pixels in their warranty.

Been using this monitor for gaming and occasionally streaming sports, and I love it. I was originally concerned with the size as all my others are 24" but fits perfectly and make me want to get another. Once again a solid Samsung product!

I received this as a Fathers day Gift, replacing a Vizio 32 inch TV as a monitor. It is like comparing night and day. 1440 over 1080 is a great gain in screen real-estate, the fast refresh is amazing, and the colors are vibrant with little adjustment right out of the box. Very satisfied with my new gift, will neve go back to using a TV as a monitor!

I absolutely like and recommend this monitor, this was my jump from 720p and 1080p screens into 1440p. Suddenly everything looked so manageable because of the different resolution. My eyes dont get as tired while using this monitor because of curvature it has, which was a strong point for me to buy it since i happen to be a lot of time of front of screens. Im a gamer and the colors in this monitor are so vibrant and the refresh rate its so high its perfect. I notice no lagg at all in fast paced moments at games like WoW, LoL and some others. I dont like it only having 1 display port and 1 hdmi port but for me it has not been a problem at all since i only use 1 screen for my current set up. 3 of 4 edges are pretty small and it really gives the borderless sensation. Settings are customizable for many likings, and they can give you serious differences on screen as when you move the sliders for black equalizer, temperature of color, etc. For mid range price point and 1440p gaming Hz low ms response, this is a safe enjoyable option to go for.

This monitor is great for gaming and for multitasking for daily and work activities. The controls are easy to use and navigate and I never have an issue with screen blur or tearing.

The G5 line has great looking panels for the price, and while the response times aren't as good as some other kinds of gaming monitors, any issues are completely unnoticeable unless you're looking for them. I will say, I have both the 27 and 34 inch G5 monitors, and the height of the frames is off by about a quarter of an inch from each other, and performance of the panels is not really on the same level. This was a bit disappointing, as I wanted to have an exact match next to each other, but the blacks are much lighter on the 27. Other than that, both of them have been fantastic, and are definitely worth it for the price.

34" G5 Odyssey Gaming Monitor replaced my Alienware 29 inch monitor, and I'm so glad that I did. The 34" G5 Odyssey has Deeper blacks and crisper picture than my old Alienware 25 gaming monitor. My games have never looked so good as on the 34"G5.

right as my warranty is about to expire, the screen is beginning to peel away from the case. and my experience with trying to get this taken care of has been abysmal. i was unable to do anything digitally so i had to call, which i was trying to avoid. reading other experiences, i thought i only had to worry about dead pixels and it being broken upon shipping, so i picked mine up from a store. i am hesitant to ship it back, but once i get that qr code i will, but i would not buy this monitor again, nor recommend it to someone else. get something with better qc that won't fall apart in a year. the white line is the light behind the screen because it's coming off. it was a great monitor until then, but this is a pretty huge issue for me.
