It has been a month since I paid for expedited shipping for this monitor and it still has yet to show up. Dealing with Samsung has been a nightmare of countless hours of trying to work with them. I will never recommend buying directly from their site

My screen cracked out of no where. I called to see what I could do since it was within the year "warranty" which they denied since it was an accident not a manufacturer defect. Well this hasn't happened with any of my other screen, and seeing as this monitor broke when I was slightly tilting the monitor to position it to my view and applying no pressure to the actual screen, I consider it a defect. I've seen that this product tends to crack within the year mark. It is unfortunate that service is no better than their product. Used to be a Samsung household, definitely will be straying away from their products. I would recommend any other product than Samsung. Service was terrible and a waste of money for the product.

I bought this monitor back in 2023 and ever since, it has been amazing. It replaced my dual 27 inch monitors that I had before and I love that you can switch from dual 16:9 screens to one 21:9 and one 11:9 aspect ratio views (which i personally use). I use it mainly use it for gaiming but when I need to get other things done, the productivity is great. I can have three windows up at the same time with equal size and due to the physical size of the monitor, the windows come up nice and clear and nothing is squished out for view. I definitely wont be needing to buy purchase a new monitor for awhile with this one. I highly suggest anyone that is looking to get a curved monitor and is running dual monitors to get this one. Having the seamless transition between the two inputs is great. Yes, the pricing maybe a little up there but it is worth every cent. The cons about this monitor are the weight and the size of the stand. I knew it was going to be big but I didn't think it was going to be as heaving as it is. You definitely need two people to move this around safely. So make sure (for anyone who is reading this) it's in a spot that it's going to stay there for awhile. In regards to the stand, it is big. It's understandable the size of it is needed due to the weight of the monitor as mentioned before but it does take up a lot of desk space from the width of the legs. I would recommend to anyone to get a monitor arm to replace the stand. Overall amazing monitor. 4.8/5

This is a must have gaming monitor the colors are very vivid I could not ask for a better monitor a little on the pricy side but I say its worth every dollar it will not disappoint I promise

Quick review: 1. HDR quality is incredibly poor. 2. For months after purchase it would abruptly go to a black screen, attempt to leave game mode and then return to game mode during gaming sessions. (Other reddit users have confirmed similar issues) 3. The operating system is so incredibly slow. The act of changing inputs can literally take 20 to 30 seconds. Incredibly aggravating. I would not recommend this monitor. I believe there are genuinely comparable products at $200 less.

This thing is either totally washed out, or blindingly bright, nothing in between. The brightness adjustment is greyed out and nothing I can do will enable it. Been on Chat with support for 2 hours now and it's 15 minutes wait between each response. Will not connect via the PC app either. Could be a nice monitor, but we'll never know because support is so horrible. I'm returning it as defective.

I bought the 27" Odyssey G5 monitor (LC27G55TQWNXZA) back in November of 2020 and just decided to come back and leave a review. At this point, I've gamed on it for hundreds of hours and it's still going strong. At 144 hz the monitor still looks great No dead pixels or issues of any sort. 100% recommend this product.

I use this monitor daily for gaming. streaming, 3d design for my printers. The picture has a little to be desired when it comes to the hdr brightness but it is beautiful. The extreme curvature of the screen really makes the monitor feel almost projected around you. The only gripe I really have is the stand. The legs are long and awkwardly pointy while the movement is limited to just a tiny degree of tilt with no vertical movement. Other than that very solid and would recommend.

Having three of the 27" G5 Odyssey Gaming Monitors on a 3 monitor stand, the experience is truly immersive. For gaming, the 144 Hz, Freesync experience is second to none when paired with my mainstream AMD gaming computer. One wish, however, is having the monitor become undetected on the one input when set to the other. For example, when one monitor's set to HDMI for my work computer and two others are set to my gaming computer over DisplayPort, Windows on my gaming computer still detects three usable monitors. All in all, I enjoy my 27" G5 Odyssey Gaming Monitors.

It is a nice monitor, but has an engineering defect. After about 7 month of usage the screen is getting of the frame. This is a commune issue and the customer support is dogging the fact that Samsung has a manufacture defect. You can search online and see that there are thousands of customers with exact same issue in exact same spot. Don't buy it.

I bought this monitor to use mostly for work. I was using 2 24" monitors and decided to consolidate into one 32" curved display. I have no regrets in switching. I am able to have similar screen real estate without it taking up a lot of desk space. It's also so light that if I ever need to move it, I can do it easily. Only downsize was that it was hard to put the stand together with the monitor. You really have to put a bit of force into it in order for the clasps to fit in and stay in.

I've had this monitor for about 3 months and, like another reviewer, it was great for that time, but then I noticed a dead pixel, and soon found out that Samsung doesn't cover dead pixels in their warranty.

I received this as a Fathers day Gift, replacing a Vizio 32 inch TV as a monitor. It is like comparing night and day. 1440 over 1080 is a great gain in screen real-estate, the fast refresh is amazing, and the colors are vibrant with little adjustment right out of the box. Very satisfied with my new gift, will neve go back to using a TV as a monitor!
