Problem when turning on
Updated review..I identified the problem. This monitor can not turn on synchronously with the computer.thats why often the system does not load by giving the video signal error..Every time for normal boot you need in advance press menu key to arouse monitor,and then swich on pc button..I still hope you can fix this and make a new firmware !

Input Detection needs to be fixed
The resolution and refresh rate are great, but the input detection is SO BAD, enough to knock off two stars. Switching between my work and personal computers means I need to completely detach the laptop from the screen for it to detect input, something I have never seen on another monitor.

Clean 1440p resolution.
This monitor has been the cleanest I owned so far. Beautiful 1440p. I paired it with both a 3060 12gb and the 9060xt 16gb and it has performed flawlessly. Using it as my gaming monitor has been a godsend. I see things differently than I used to.

Awesome monitor
This monitor is awesome. I use it for gaming most of the time but I sometimes use it for homework. The monitor was pretty cheap for the specs it has. I plan to buy another one, maybe a different model though for variety.

Great... But dead pixel after 2 weeks.
I ordered 2 of these in order to upgrade my gaming setup. The picture is great, resolution is fantastic, color and HDR is spot on and refresh rate is superb. The only reason this isn't a 5 star is because of one of the monitors already having dead pixels showing in the middle of the primary viewing area. Samsung offered to return and refund for a replacement, but that's just a hassle. It's not convenient to try and ship a monitor back and then deal with their hassle of a refund system. It's a bit disappointing, and will definitely influence my next monitor purchase.

Monitor problems and bad warranty support.
Less than a year old and started having issues. Both a horizontal and vertical line showed up on the monitor and would not go away. I assume is stopped drawing these pixels. It is still under warranty and the Samsung online help was great in setting me up to have it shipped to be checked and repaired. But soon after that I started getting a bunch of irritating texts and phone calls from Samsung asking questions I had already answered and then very quickly they cancelled the help ticket. Samsung seems to want to make it very difficult or impossible to have the warranty honored.

This monitor has changed the way I utilize my computer. Not only are the games visually clearer and smoother but also clear and smooth when I'm web browsing or doing my homework. With such a high resolution, I have a lot of desktop space for my icons and having windows open. The colors are vibrant and the high hz make my gameplay more predictable.

Upgrade!!!!
Upgraded my monitor from a cheap Onn to this G5 and loving every bit of it. The detail is sharper and the colors are brighter, I would definitely recommend it every time.

Solid Gaming Monitor from Samsung
When I wanted a new monitor for gaming, I chose Samsung. I have lots of other Samsung products, and they've all been great and reliable. Of course, I made sure the monitor had all the necessary features. It has QHD resolution, an IPS panel, a fast refresh rate and response time, and is compatible with AMD FreeSync. It's been a pleasure to use and I haven't had a bit of trouble with it. I recommend it wholeheartedly.

Samsung Odyssey G5
This was my first actual gaming monitor after I got into PC gaming. The 180hz, 1440p, very easy set up and the ability to adjust the monitor in any way you want. I wouldn't necessarily call this a budget monitor but it is worth the money. The only thing I do not like (nothing to do with performance or screen quality) is the plastic stand cover in the back. Never seems to stay on no matter what I do. Other than that, it's actually a very nice monitor and well worth the money.

This monitor is amazing
I've utilizing this monitor for watch YouTube, Netflix, hulu, but mainly for gaming, and the visuals compared to my old monitor are astounding. Also with the stand I bought i can put this monitor whereever I need which ever way I need to face it, and I don't miss a beat whether it's the enemies head or the fine details of the movie.

Amazing image defiently feels high quality
I've been using the Samsung Odyssey G7 32-inch for a few weeks now, and it's exceeded my expectations in every way. The 1000R curved display is incredibly immersive, making me feel like I'm right in the middle of the action. The 32-inch size is perfect - large enough to be enveloping, but not so big that it feels overwhelming on my desk.
The QHD resolution (2560x1440) is fantastic, offering crisp and vibrant visuals. Colors pop, and the details are sharp, which is a big step up from my previous 1080p monitor. I'm also a fan of the 240Hz refresh rate - everything feels so smooth and fluid, especially in fast-paced games like shooters or racing sims. Paired with the 1ms response time, it's really made a difference in my gameplay. There's no ghosting or lag, just pure, responsive action.
The monitor's support for both G-Sync and FreeSync has also made a noticeable improvement in terms of eliminating screen tearing. Even during intense gaming sessions, everything runs seamlessly, regardless of whether I'm using an NVIDIA or AMD GPU.
