Can improve
I like the tablet but they can improve by having a dedecated button to power it off. Also, having great colors and not having matching colors for the protective jackets/holders defeats the purpose of having such great colors as a marketing tool.

So far so good
This is the first tablet I've ever owned and so far so good. It has a nice battery life and I use it more for reading books and pdf files.

Beautiful Tablet Aweful Battery life
I seem yo be having an issue with my battery longevity and this is a brand new tablet. My daughter and I each bought one and her battery works way better than mine. My S4's battery is better than this one

Wow, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 is an absolute game-changer for college students! It's incredibly easy and convenient to use right out of the box. Setting it up was a breeze, and navigating the interface feels totally natural.
Where it really shines is handling coursework. Tackling PDF assignments and readings is so much simpler now. I use the Samsung-optimized Adobe Acrobat app constantly - annotating readings, filling out worksheets, and signing forms directly on the screen is seamless and saves so much paper and hassle. It's honestly helped a ton with managing homework.
The free year of Goodnotes included is a massive bonus! It's perfect for taking lecture notes, organizing study materials, and brainstorming ideas. Having this powerful app for free makes the Tab S9 an even better value for students.
Performance-wise, this tablet is lightning fast. Apps load instantly, and everything feels incredibly responsive. The high-resolution screen is gorgeous - crisp text, vibrant colors - making reading and watching videos a pleasure. Plus, it handles running two apps side-by-side flawlessly. Researching online while taking notes in Goodnotes? No problem, it runs super smooth without any lag.

Amazing product.
Amazing! My productivity increased ! I Love how it's easy to use. It also makes designing easier for me. It's exactly what I needed. And it's lightweight. I can take it everywhere. I still need to explore it more, but so far, it's amazing.

Underwhelming. Lots of potential not well executed
Tablet is a good device overall, it performed most basic tasks well. However, one of the biggest issues I encountered is that the pen functionality was poor. I primarily bought this tablet as a notetaking device to replace an old Surface Go, but I found that the ink was often off by a couple of milimeters of the pen tip, especially around the screen edges. The device also does not give you the option to recalibrate the screen.
Additionally, I was bummed out that the device did not support the DeX function to use the tablet as an additional screen, or to project the tablet onto a larger screen. While this was not a dealbreaker in and of itself, it did take value away from its multitasking potential. For comparison, my Galaxy S23U phone supports DeX.
I returned the device because it did not meet my need for a reliable notetaking device. I would recommend this product for light work or entertainment purposes, nothing a smartphone wouldn't be able to do though.

The product performs incredibly.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 is one of the best Android tablets you can get right now. It's super fast, really nice to look at, and great for both fun and work. It runs on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, which is one of the strongest processors out there. That means the tablet can handle pretty much anything-playing games, watching videos, using a bunch of apps at once, or even editing photos and videos. It also comes with plenty of memory (RAM), so it runs smooth without slowing down.
The screen is one of the best parts. It's an 11-inch AMOLED display, which means colors look bright, blacks are deep, and everything just looks amazing. The screen is also really sharp and refreshes quickly (120Hz), so scrolling and animations feel smooth. Watching movies or videos on it is a great experience.
The Tab S9 also comes with a special pen called the S Pen. It feels a lot like writing with a real pen and is great for taking notes, drawing, or even just tapping around the screen. You don't have to charge it, and it sticks to the back of the tablet magnetically.
For people who want to use it like a laptop, Samsung has a feature called DeX that makes the tablet's screen work more like a computer, with windows and a taskbar. You can even connect a keyboard case to type more comfortably.
The battery is pretty big and lasts a long time-usually a full day of use. It charges up fast, too. Plus, the tablet is water and dust resistant, which is rare for tablets.

Love the Tab. but not the return process
the tab is great my wife loves it, the only problem we had was I bought the wrong screen protector and I was little over 2 weeks trying to get a RMA and a return label, I sent over 10 emails trying to get a return label and I kept getting the run around they tried to get me to keep it and refund me $3 I said no it won't work on my Tab, why would I want to keep something that won't fit. but I finally got my refund today just about a Month later the return was bad I love my Samsung phones and Tab tho

Has anything a typical user would need.
This device is by far the best value device I have ever purchased, and with Samsung's trade-in features and student discount, it is by far the best tablet a student or practicing professional could buy. There is seamless actions across apps and the included s-pen has helped me in my language-learning journey and with annotating weekly readings for my post-grad fellowship. Couldn't recommend more.
