TV died 13 months after purchase. Power failure. Thank goodness I bought from Costco and their 5 year warranty. This will be the last Samsung tv I will ever buy.

Our TV died for the 2nd time tonight and support was no help at all! Samsung does not care about their customers. We purchased our TV November 2024. In May of 2025 the screen went black and they scheduled service for June 2nd. The two techs that came out were in and out of my house in 5 minutes, replacing the power supply board. Now here we are 7 months later, Jan 31st, the screen went black AGAIN. Support tells me my TV is out of warranty and they will not cover the part or labor for the power supply board that broke yet a SECOND TIME! This is a KNOWN DEFECT - so many people have had this issue. Do better Samsung! Disappointed and sick over this - wasted so much time chatting online with a "Pro" Mohamad, who wanted access to my phone and the camera to verify things? "visual support tool" he called it. Absolutely not giving someone access to my phone. Already sent photo of my black-screened TV, not sure what else he wants! I feel harassed and like a hostage, him trying to force me into giving access to my personal phone in order to receive support? NOPE.

Something with the power board has now broken twice and thankfully it's within the year warranty so we cn get it fixed otherwise we'd be in the hole. They won't extend the warranty to a year after replacement dat either so we will not be buying Samsung again.

Awful product. Never had more regret with a purchase. TV died right after the 1-year warranty expired. Customer service was no help. First and last Samsung purchase.

Don't buy this model TV. We have 8 Samsung TV's in our house and never had an issue. The built in power board went out on this tv 15 months after buying. Of course it was 3 months after the factory warranty expired. It's a $400 part plus labor and according to our service tech, it's a known issue on this model and he has swapped a ton these. This should be a recalled item and the cost and hassle should not be on the customer. Samsung needs to do better.

Great TV picture from all angles vivid color. great for sports and movies. Unfortunately I had to have the power board replaced 8 months after purchase. Happy to say it is working well again.

I bought this TV in November 2024, I don't watch it much because am mostly at work. Before the year elapsed, the TV just stopped working. At first I thought it was a remote problem butI was told that, that particular batch had a problem with the turn on part. Samsung sent someone to replace the faulty part as they were already aware of the problem given that they had replaced on multiple other TVs. After the replacement, in less than 3 months, the TV stopped working again! Same problem. As I write this, I have this huge TV in my house that is dead! Its more than 2 months and the warranty company has not been able to find a technician who can deal with the issue . I believed in Samsung and all my gadgets are Samsung but this one failed me big time, am so disappointed!

Bought this after weeks of reviewing and comparing other TVs. Originally was going for a QLED, but after seeing OLED in person and viewing quality at my parents, I decided to get this model versus other brands. I no longer have a brand, but Samsung seems to put out good products and have a solid warranty, even though it is sometimes a hassle to get warranty work done, but that depends on who you talk to at customer service, it still gets done. After one year of heavy use, there is no sign of burn in or dimming as far as I can tell. Watched a show that had a vividly colored flower with a solid black background and was in awe with the contrast. Gaming is flawless and streaming is good for what it is, as there are some apps that have more issues than others. My only complaint is that there isn't enough features for tech-centric users. I can't clear cache for apps and other advanced features that make it "my" TV. It is Samsung and you won't forget it and I still don't know why they still use Tizen. The average viewer will love this TV as much as I do, even with the lack of more advanced features. I do recommend at least a soundbar as these TVs still don't produce quality sound for movies.

Had this TV for 3 months and it went dark. The original board had a capacitor design flaw which they commonly blew out. The upgraded board with new capacitor design has been good since. Tech was helpful. TV looks looks great and clear for TV movies & gaming

Overall, I've been happy with the tv. The onboard apps and user experience of the Home Screen and apps could definitely use some improvements for usability, so that's what I consider the biggest weakness. I would like to see it have DolbyVision support in addition to HDR10+ as this is really annoying with a modern set to not have support for the latest standards. But my biggest issues is what happened 3 days ago, after about 9 or 10 months, the TV hiccups while we were watching, going black, no power. Guessing it's the internal power supply going bad. Still under warranty, thankfully, but come on ? quality control, please. I expect better on a high-end product like this and this should never be happening. That's a week of no TV, and while this hopefully works out okay, I'm not currently very happy.

I now have two SAMSUNG televisions. I paid a good price for one and I am disappointed with the remote control. I like numbers on the remote. I don't know how many others feel this way. The picture is great. I do want to note that at times my TV feels as if it is possessed. It does things on its on. I am not even touching the remote and I see strange things going on in the bottom right hand side of the TV.

This television is the best I've ever owned. The picture is very clear, the colors vibrant. Paired with the Samsung soundbar, bass and 2 speakers, my living room is a theater experience. Guests always comment and admire the quality of the picture and sound.

I bought this S90d oled TV on February to my surprise this tv has been the best in watching any movies at night, it is bright but can be adjusted to your own settings. I have too may background these cancels the noise like they never existed. I think this should be their mod tier flagship TV.

My 77-inch S90D couldn't power on after one year and two days. After a lengthy call with customer service-during which they first requested the serial number, which I had a hard time to get due to I couldn't power on the TV or access the back of the mounted TV as an old man. I asked them to get the serial number for me from their system because I ordered the TV from Samsung website and they refused. When I finally got the serial number and called the support, they just performed basic resets, then requested access to my phone camera to see the TV with their own eyes, and also asked me to send photos of the unit via text message. They eventually scheduled a repair. However, the local technician later told me that they are unavailable and that whatever Samsung support promised date does not apply. They stated they will not have time to come out until sometime in 2026 to even attempt a repair. This situation is extremely frustrating, especially during the holidays, as we will be without a TV at home.

I bought Samsung Model QN77S90DAFXZA in 11/22/2024. It had clear pictures and I believed it was a good purchase. I only watch TV over the weekend, so in July 2025 I try to turn on the TV one morning and it wasn't turning on. I called the retail shop that I bought it from and they sent the guy who had delivered and installed it for me to check what was wrong. He found out that the TV had a turn on problem just like many others that he had installed of the same batch! He told me that those customers who detected the problem earlier returned the TV and were either refunded or the TV replaced. The retailer advised me to call Samsung service, and they sent their service person who came to my house and replaced the faulty part and the TV worked again. I asked the person if the problem had been sorted completely and he affirmed, its barely 3 months, the TV has developed the same issue, it doesn't turn on! As I write this, I have the big expensive TV in my house that can't turn on! I called Samsung service again and the said that their service warranty is just for a year. I had bought another warranty for 3 years so I called them and they told me to send pictures and TV details which I did,they haven't gotten back to me. To say the least, am very dissatisfied, disappointed because I have always believed in Samsung and cant believe that I am suffering for a manufacturer's fault..

I love the picture quality and all of the Samsung TV freebies. It is great if all you want is a TV. Where it fails is as an entertainment system. The fact that it can pair with only one soundbar and one music frame is a major disappointment. Samsung phones have let you group music frames for years now, the tvs should allow you to do the same. Surround sound would be amazing with grouped music frames. Q Symphony is a joke. It can only control 2 speakers and doesn't sound better than just a single soundbar. Samsung needs to improve its sound offerings fast if it wishes that these tvs be the centerpiece of an entertainment system.

I love this tv!! I turn it on as soon as I get home from work and in awe on how clear and clean thi picture quality is! Then I start cooking and even though Im not looking it sounds like its in my kitchen. The interface is so up to date and the remote doesn't even require batteries and it has a small solar panel on it!! If they went far into the future with there remote then what does that tell you about the tv.. it has the latest components and it shows in what ever you are watching. Of course you have to tweak it a bit in the setting but who doesn't like doing that?? And It didnt ake long for me to get it right. People look life like in this 77 inch! The beauty this tv can produce is by far above anything I've ever seen and I know there are other tvs with higher price tags but I don't know how much more life like those look in comparison...sure they might have other features that other people might want but for the price they want for those extras does not out weigh the price and features get with this samsung tv! I have a samsung tv from 2014 that is still going strong! And if this new one I have does the same I will be blown away but it doesn't matter if it last that long but to know that samsung tvs are made to last then so be it lol. My son loves the 2014 model and to be able to pass it down to my kid is insane when you think about it. I own the 77-inch Samsung television, and I must say that it is an exceptional product. I highly recommend it. The picture quality is outstanding, and the free Samsung TV app is particularly impressive. In my opinion, it is the best television I have ever owned.

I have had my new 77" Samsung OLED TV for about one month. Although there were some bumps in the road with a call hang-up during the purchase and delivery delays, I received the TV which was installed without problems by caring installers. I am enjoying the TV and am hopeful it will provide lots of great entertainment.

I'm on my third main board. I continue to have rebooting issues. I'll be watching and for no reason my TV starts to reboot the picture. The power stays on, I just get a spinning reboot symbol that is extremely annoying. I went with the Samsung because consumer reports recommended this TV. I'm not happy at all seeing that this unit was $2500 after the discount.

The Samsung S90D 77" OLED has exceeded my expectations. Picture quality is outstanding-perfect blacks, high peak brightness, and very accurate color reproduction right out of the box. HDR performance is especially impressive, with great detail in both dark and bright scenes. Motion handling is smooth, and gaming on this TV is next-level. The 4K 120Hz, VRR, and extremely low input lag make it ideal for PS5 and Xbox Series X. The panel uniformity is excellent, and the anti-glare coating works surprisingly well in my bright living room. Tizen OS is fast, apps load quickly, and the build quality feels premium. Overall, a fantastic OLED with top-tier performance. One of the best upgrades I've made.
