Big storage,heatsink works great,high peformance
Put it in my ps5 and works wonderfully. It formatted well got over 6,500 read speed and an extra two terrabytes of storage and am now able to run games at 4k resolution.The heat sink really helps cause my ps5 would overheat easily and now i havent had it happen once with the help of cleaning the fan and the ssd

Great flagship ssd to get
It's fast and reliable, haven't got any issue so far. The magician app is great for tracking status of the ssd. Worth the price

Great drive
It is a great drive once you have installed everything and downloaded all the applications. However, it was a bit tricky to install it and at first my computer didn't recognize it.

One of the best
I needed a fast drive, with good capacity. I also have a 970 evo 1tb as a OS drive. My 2TB 970 was getting full. Bought this 990 when it was on sale. Glad I did. Plenty of room, great speed. Game load times are fast. Never had an issue with a Samsung drive

Good product fast, furious, but not 2000 exactly.
Works great with my Lenovo loq with 32 gb ram. Games run clean. The computer comes with 500gb and an empty m.2 slot (like game creators selling incomplete games LOL) so I put this guy in. Just isnt a complete 2 to cause hardware so 4 stars. They should make them 2050 for the hardware installs.

Overall Great SSD
I love this SSD. I needed more space on my Galaxy Book 4 Ultra and now I feel like there is no way I can fill the space if I tried. I like the fast transfer speeds (up to 7gb/s).

Works great! It was super easy to install in my MSI laptop. I'll probably buy another one from Samsung for the ps5. The Samsung magic program is easy to understand. I'm not a hardcover gamer so ymmv

Positive Noticeable difference in performance.

SAMSUNG NVMe 990 Pro M.2 SSD = BREATH OF NEW LIFE!
Samsung 990 PRO SSD NVMe M.2 PCIe Gen4, M.2 2280 Internal Solid State Hard Drive to upgrade my Asus STRIX SCAR 2022 as the replacement primary (OS) drive. Also a clean Win 11 pro install. And I also doubled my RAM. Im using my 980 PRO SSD 2TB PCIe NVMe Gen 4 Gaming M.2 Internal Solid State Drive (First primary drive upgrade) And utilizing my Shadow drive as a safe place for my hidden files, etc... Once I made all these changes my Laptop is now beyond "up to speed, performance and reliability" compared to MANY 2024/2025 High End Gaming units of the same model laptop. My $4900.00 special factory custom, Asus Strix Scar has a breath of new life and speed. Now, its a new unit all over aagain.Samsung has done it for me again. Im loving getting an additional 3 to 4 years out of my initial investment. Originally I did have to wait 4 months for the factory and XoticPC to build it to my specs, knowing in a couple 2 to 3 years I'd upgrade it heavily one more time. Thanks to Samsung my plan worked flawlessly. And lastly OCing my CPU and high end GPU really put me on top. Again thanks to my Samsung components all is perfect!

Quick and Easy Install, Great Performance!
It was easy to install in my PS5. I now have much more storage that loads extremely fast. It's been great and I recommend if you want to increase your internal storage. Better than an external SSD.
