I?ve had these for a short time, but they are awesome. Excellent clarity and they seem sturdy and solid. I?m very pleased.

Crystal clear image, comfortable in the hands, and a major upgrade from my old pair of Binoculars. I can?t wait to test them more in the field.

It was a replacement of 8x30 that I lost in the forest. The power is brilliant but it needed to refocus between near and far object

I purchased these a few weeks ago to replace some old Steiner's I had for years that got stolen. Wow these new ones are amazing. I showed them to the people I work with and they were blown away by the clarity and the 3d effects. I would recommend them to everyone

I have been a loyal user of Steiner binoculars for 20 years. They stand by their product 100%. I am an avid hunter and put my glasses to the test, hunting in rain and snow. Steiner stands behind their products and the service dept. is top notch. Go Steiner.

Ok, I?m sold.? I purchased the Steiner Model 2444 Predator 10x42 Binoculars, the fit and finish is just what I expected from Steiner.? These binos are very comfortable to hold very comfortable to look through, easy to configure for your (or rather my) eyes and easy to carry at less than two pounds.? I love the way the strap attaches to the binos and how easy it is to take off.? I have a chest rig that I like to carry my binos on and it was no problem converting it to work with these.? How awesome Steiner, I didn?t have to replace my trusty chest rig.? I did a side by side comparison of these and the binos I have been using.? Looking through my Bushnell 10x42 then looking through these, I didn?t see much difference; I was looking at a small herd of antelope at about 850 yards. But when I put one eye in the Bushnells and one eye in the Steiners, it became very clear which binos were superior.? Let there be no doubt the Steiner Predator 10x42 was clearer, brighter and I was able to see more detail on the antelope.? The Steiner Predator 10x42 have become my primary binos and the Bushnells have been relegated to my backup binos.

Targeted for hunting enthusiasts, Steiner Predator AF is both lightweight and super sharp. CAT (Color-Adjusted Transmission) lens coatings help in defining game even in failing light or shade or when obscured by vegetation. A unique feature of these optics is the ability to set the focus for each eyepiece without the need to constantly readjust focus when the hunter or quarry moves. This design also does away with the need for a bridge, which further contributes to the binocular's lightness, in addition to allowing a greater surface area for a better grip. Constructed of impact-resistant Makrolon polycarbonate, Predator AF is coated with NBR synthetic rubber armor for comfortable and secure handling even in the cold or rain.
Optical Performance
Powerful 10x magnification with comfortable exit pupil
Small form factor for lightness and all day comfort
Porro prism yields a more robust depth of field
High-contrast CAT (Color-Adjusted Transmission) lens coatings aid in contrast and color rendition
381' field of view at 1000 yards
Use and Handling
Individual eyepiece focusing
Supports single time initial individual focus adjustment per user
No need to refocus for targets at ranges from 6 feet to infinity
Construction
Open bridge design for lightness and improved handling
Rugged build with Impact-resistant Makrolon polycarbonate chassis that also resists temperature induced expansion common to metal
BR synthetic rubber armor resists grease and chemical adhesion while making for a more comfortable grip
