With 2-Way Audio, a person can communicate with someone in view of a camera either directly through the DVR or an Apple or Android app. Their 2-Way Audio kits provide all the hardware required to communicate using this feature.

CAMMIC High Impedance Line Level Microphone
The CAMMIC is a unique microphone from Speco Technologies in that it can be connected to a line level input on an amplifier or DVR instead of a microphone level input. This provides great flexibility on units that have all microphone inputs occupied or that don't have a microphone input at all. It's especially ideal for recording channel specific audio on DVRs with that capability.
