To Louisb, and his response of "One Star Rating". Not being smart nor rude but this is a hard lesson learned. All European scopes (S.B. Steiner etc.) all come in counter clock wise (CCW) as a standard in turret rotations, now some provide an option to get a clock wise rotation (CW) for turrets, which is standard for American manufactured scopes. Also the down fall with going the European route is any warranty work your looking from four to eight weeks for return, once they receive it.

I purchased a M5Xi 5X25 scope for a custom 338 Lapua Magnum. I got the scope while waiting for my other rifle components so I could start shooting when I got the rifle put together. When I went to sight in the rifle I was surprised that the turrets were backwards--Elevation up--caused the point of impact to be lower---Windage Left caused the point of impact to be to the right. In addition, the Zero Stop prevented ease of Elevation Up (Point of Impact Up)--it worked in reverse only allowing adjustment for point of impact down. I contacted Steiner. They advised they could not tell me how long it would take to get another scope because they did not have any in stock. It was in terms of months. They did have a "Blemished"/refurbished scope that they would exchange. They would not give me a refund. Essentially, had a gun to my head, so I had to agree to take the "Blemished"/refurbished scope. Problem is I paid for a "new" non-blemished scope. A total nightmare.
