It's not a hot-swappable device,but it does the job perfectly as a CF reader with an AKAI MPC2000xl. You have to drill by yourself the holes on the metal to fit the unit to the device. That's kind of easy, but It would be more convenient if the holes were already in place. A hot-swappable version of this product would be the perfect solution for old school devices.
