These were even smaller than I hoped, unbelievably clear, nothing is loose, and so far they've been in the rain with no leaks. This is exactly what I wanted.

This is my second pair of this model. I lost my first pair in New York City a couple of weeks ago and was thrilled to be able to replace them. Adjusting the focus is very easy and the fact that they are compact is perfect. I have used these for wildlife viewing and for ballet performances. I love these binoculars.

Bought these for vacation and birdwatching in the backyard- easy to carry-lightweight- incredible sharpness for the size. The old saying bigger is better not in this case these Safari Ultrasharp are incredible. This is the first pair of Steiner binoculars and it won't be the last!!

Solid construction and beautiful. A bit heavy but pretty well balanced and feels very good in the hand. Outstanding at this price and as good as any in this range. Eyecups are thin but comfortable and fold down easily. Smooth focus and love the diopter on the left rather than right which is more common. Excellent wide FOV without glasses. Eye relief is decent and with eyecups folded down glasses can be used with only a small loss of FOV. Image quality brightness sharpness as good as any in this price range. Easy to hold reasonably steady. Very nice carry bag and neck strap. Cleaning cloth and excellent detailed manual. No rain guard but Vortex compact rain guard actually works well.

These are perfect for compact carry to sporting events and concerts. Great low light clarity. Easy to use and very well made. Adorama’s service and delivery were excellent. Great product from a great online retailer.

I bought the Safari Ultrasharp 8x22 for its ease of carry, quality construction and great lenses for use hiking, kayaking and sports viewing. After a month’s use the Safari is everything I expected. Highly recommended.

Great binoculars for $79.00!Crisp,3D imaging from their "budget" line.Awesome clarity,especially considering that this is a compact binocular.I bought them for wildlife viewing and use them to spot wildlife before I send one of my drones over to photograph.As this is my first Steiner purchase,if this is the quality of compacts,one could only imagine what their full size models can do!Only disappointment is no protective lens covers.

Nicely made but I found these binocs to be somewhat awkward to handle and focus. Also, the eyecups are rather flimsy.

Optics seem high quality with good brightness and sharpness. Focus is easy. Compact. I had a pair of Zeiss compact binoculars for 30 years with superb optics. The Steiners are almost as good at 1/7 the price.

Great for portability as they are sized for a jacket pocket. Optic are clear, sharp and bright.
