I got this for umpiring in the water sports under full weather conditions. I love all aspects of this binocular such as clarity, endurance, excellent grip, and pricing. Especially auto-focus function is essential to me in an emergency. So helpful. This is the best binocular in my life. Steiner, thank you very much for the excellent product.

I had ordered Steiner 1050 210 Model. After 16 days magic binocular came to me across the Pacific ocean. I was disappointed to see it was not 210 but 2035 Model. Why they use 210 pictures in Steiner homepage, Selling the 2035 Model. Did they stop producing 210 Model. It was 210 that i had carried on sniper mission 20 years ago. I am still missing 210

Got the binoc's for free when Steiner was running a crazy promo on their (on sale) 536 battle scope. Already knew what to expect in optics so it wasn't really much of a decision and now, a couple of years on, they've been very handy, going everywhere. Cool optics covers.

Have used Steiners for 40 years. First in Marine Corps. Best durability of any. Great clarity, clear through out view.

Looked through a pair of 7x50’s years ago. I knew at that moment, some day I’d own a pair of quality binoculars. The 10 x 50 Military Marine binoculars were my choice. They are everything 8I expected and more.

I finally bought a set of Steiner Military/Marine 10X50’s and couldn’t be happier. Razor sharp clarity and with three dimensional depth from 20 yards to as far as you can see.

I've been aware of the optics of Steiner and decided to become an owner myself. Wow are these babies top notch or what? They may be a bit heavy but when zooming in on objects you know you've got a pair of the best binoculars in the world

Santa Bride brought these binoculars to me for Christmas. We've used a set of Steiner 8x30 MM binoculars for eight or ten years for creature watching around our property, and they are just right for her to manipulate. I, however, am of the 'bigger is better" philosophy, hence, the 10x50s! These are BIG glasses. They are HEAVY glasses. Which is not necessarily a bad thing. Weight provides extra stability, especially with the higher magnification, which will magnify movement, just like it magnifies objects being viewed... These are supposed to have some kind of one and done focus mechanism, which I think is a little bit overplayed. I still need to adjust focus when viewing, but keep in mind I am using them at fairly short distances: 120 to 200 feet or so...maybe when they are used at further ranges, the need for adjustment is less. This is really not an issue, as I would expect higher-end glasses to be sensitive to adjustments, and these 10x50s are. They respond to what I would consider very small adjustments, perhaps due to the increased magnification and the close ranges I use them at. But the MAIN thing, the bottom line for any type of optic, is clarity/brightness. And these babies are ice-clear and bright! The qualities that amazed me about the Steiner line when I first looked through a pair of 8x30s some years ago were their clarity and brightness. I have always found porro prism systems more amenable to my eyes as opposed to roof prisms. I looked through some roof prism binoculars one time and thought I was going blind. No amount of fiddling could get them in focus for me... Another selling point, for me at least, were all those military photos showing US fighters looking through Steiners. If they're good enough for the US military, they're good enough for me! SO, in closing, I would say that if one is used to using smaller, lower-powered binoculars, there will be an adjustment curve involved in settling in to these 10x50s. It's short, painless, and once you get accustomed to them, they are simply in a totally different class from the smaller binoculars. Highly recommended!

I bought this set of 8x30 last month since I read all the positive reviews. I like the sport auto focus that once set and done - no more chasing focus on a moving subject or struggling left or right with the focusing wheel on a distance subject. Sometimes I just want to pick up a set of binos and see things just happened without focusing - this Steiner MM830 got the answer for that. The images are so bright and crisp through them - awesome! I compared the MM830 with another set of binos with bak-7 and multi-coated lens and the MM830 gave the brighter image. I like the light weight and water/fog proof that can be used in any weather condition. They can be shareable with others if the auto focus diopters are set to zero - due to the better depth of field of the porro prism. Images are always crisp and crystal clear. Only pros, no cons from me ?

I've always wanted a pair of Steiner optics but they were always out of my price range. Found a pair of 8x30 military marine binoculars at a store closing. The difference in quality is instantly recognizable. Compared my old set side by side with the Steiner's, there was no comparison! The image quality and brightness blew my old set out of the water. I can't beleive I went all these years without buying a quality set. I'll never go back to cheap optics again

I bought these bins to replace old lightweights. These are larger but very compact and lightweight. There is no need no to adjust focus after initial setup, they provide clear resolution outside of 20 meters to infinity. Excellent product for the price. Good warranty.

The product is exactly what I needed and expected. I have been wanting the MM830 for some time and the opportunity presented itself through a Canadian Retailer at a great price. My eyesight at 65 varies from one eye to the other and chasing game with my old focus as you go binos was a bother. The only drawback was to register my unit on a Canadian/US application that requires a US Retailer address in order to proceed. So I couldn't Register for ongoing product updates Etc. All in all, I am very happy.

I JUST LOVE THE THOUGHT, THAT YOU DO NOT HAVE TO THINK ABOUT ADJUSTMENTS ALL THE TIME. IT'S ALWAYS ADJUSTED RIGHT FOR YOUR EYES, ONCE IN A GREAT WHILE AT A LONG DISTANCE YOU MIGHT HAVE TO TWEEK A EYE. BUT THIS HAPPENED TO ME TWICE IN A WEEK AFTER BOUNCEING AROUND IN THE HUNTING TRUCK, AND ALSO OTHER PEOPLE USING IT. HUMMMM?? I WONDER IF THEY MIGHT HAVE TOUCHED THE ADJUSTMENT AFTER I TOLD A BUNCH OF BUDDIES NO!. WHAT DO YOU THINK?

This is a well build binocular. Very satisfy with the purchase.
A tough, solid compact that offers plenty of magnification, rainproof construction and maximum versatility. Refined design by years of use in a variety of settings, from mountaintops to deep canyons, aboard and ashore. For spotting game or exploring nature's majesty, Steiner's increased depth-of-view puts all the action in focus at once. Long eye-relief for eyeglass wearers.
