Sue D : How many camera parts can you put into this case?JESSICA S : I can fit a Canon T2i body, two lenses (a 18-55 and a 55-250) and a external flash in the case. If I had better planned the layout, I could have gotten the battery charger in there. My bad.Sue D : Thank you Woody for your help. I really appreciate it.JIM C : It's tight for a DSLR. I have a D80 with battery grip and a Tamron 18-270 that pretty much fills the case. I use it mostly for travel when someone else is going to be handling it. If I am transporting my camera I just use a nylon bag that hold everything... If it's going on a plane it goes in the Pelican with a lock.WOODY S : Well, that depends on what parts you intend to put in it. It can easily bold a DSLR body, and two lens. In my case, a Canon 7d, a 50mm and a Canon 17-40 MM L.JESSICA S : I got a Canon T2i body, two lenses ( a 18-55 and a 55-250 zoom) and the external flash in it. Had I been smarter in the layout, I could have gotten the battery charger and cord in it. My bad. INSIDESMA.COM I : with some clever planning, a blue sharpie for tracing, and a very sharp exacto knife blade, I was able to fit my full-frame sony A99 body, grip, medium-sized lens, and 5-6 SD memory cards and still remain a neat appearance. The grip and lens went into the bottom layer with the body laying horizontally across the top layer. I made simple slits in the left over padding area for the SD cards. Remember, you can buy replacement foam so don't have reservations about cutting. Youtube has videos about how to plan and cut the foam for guns but the principle is the same.
Shopper : Why Did You Choose This?AARON S : I chose this item because it was the perfect size case to hold two lenses (Sigma 18-35 and 50-100) plus some lens accessories. The depth provides a two tier support where my lenses sit neatly atop my accessories.

Great, durable case

Got this case several years ago for my G7 camera - I cut out the foam so the camera would have a tight fit, and feel confident my camera is well-protected in this.

Perfect dimensions for Canon D40 + battery grip and 17-70 lens. The highest quality of workmanship welded during kayaking trips. When in the morning I sat in front of the tent and drank coffee, I also had something to sit on ... A great suitcase!

Highly Recommended

We bought several of these cases to use for camera cases (specifically Nikon D3400). These cases are rugged, sturdy and solid. IMO, Pelican cases are the best on the market. The yellow color is excellent - highly visible and easily seen in the dark.

This foam is easy to customize, but you do have to be careful. All in all, it's a fine product, however very pricey.

Incredible Case

This is one nice case. I wish I could say the same for all Pelican products. However, most of Pelican products are at least "good", but this storm case is the best. Period. Buy one and enjoy it.

Great Case

I am using the air tight and waterproof Pelican box for high dollar sports optics. This insures my binocs and range finders will be protected and secure when I travel in the field. The ability to move to destinations without having to worry about damage from drops or elements is one less worry. I purchased mine with the foam liner which is well designed and can be articulated in numerous positions making the protection very versatile. The handle and closers are second to none, once it has been closed it's like Fort Knox and the handle perfectly fits in your hand with no slip grip on the underside…What more can you ask for?

Die Hard

I use it to carry EOS 1D with EF 50mm f1.2L mounted and ready to shoot on the boat while fishing. It fits a little tight, wouldn't fit larger lens, but it's all right with me. Rock solid protection in rain or storm, sand whirling while on the move and occasional kicks when I'm in the middle of fish fighting. Still I can get a perfect shot any time on the water without risking expensive equipment.
