As tough as they get

During my law enforcement career I have made extensive use of Pelican cases. Now that I'm retired I spend more time traveling. I bought two (2) iM2750 pelican cases because they fall within the allowed dimensions for checked airline baggage and truly are "baggage handler proof'. Yes; they're more expensive than cheap luggage. However; if you want to keep the contents of your luggage secure and never want to have to buy luggage again, these would be the luggage cases to buy. Pelican cases are also guaranteed for life.

Carries complete lighting on airplane

Meets airline regulations. I've configured it to carry two complete Alien Bees, with batteries, and tripods (lightstands don't work well in many outdoor locations). Travel with confidence!

Another Great Case from Pelican

Bought this case to hold our new Ghost, gimbal-based stabilizer. The Ghost is fragile but I feel like it's well protected in this case. Stabilizers like the Ghost are unusual pieces of gear but, as usual, the Pelican case was easy to configure to hold it. I am able to keep the Ghost and all accessories, except the stand, in the case. Even still, the entire thing is not heavy. Even if it were, it comes with wheels and an adjustable height handle. I highly recommend this case for the Ghost and it may well work with other gimbal stabilizers. Check with your stabilizer supplier.

Perfect protection for sensitive gear

I've had my Pelican Hardigg iM2750 Storm Case with the Utility Organizer in medium to heavy use for over 6 months in professional working conditions. It's still in great condition with some scrapes from normal use of packing in and out of vehicles. So far all my sensitive gear has remained safe and dry. And the bright yellow is easy for me to differentiate my gear form others on location.

Suitcase replacement

Tired of having luggage destroyed and didn't want to pay $500 for expensive hardshell suitcase. It worked great but it is 18.5 lbs so you can only pack 31.5 lbs of clothing.

Another excellent Stormcase

Excellent case for a customized scientific camera. The only thing I dislike about it is the case finish shows wear and tear more than the finish on Pelican cases.

Solid, practically indestructible case

This is the third iM2750 Storm Case I have purchased. We also have two of the Pelican 1620 cases which are equivalent in size and features. The iM2750 case has more durable wheels, axles and better latches. The empty weight is about a pound lighter than the Pelican 1620. We transport aircraft tools and equipment to job sites all over the United States, and occasionally to foreign countries. These cases are checked onto commercial aircraft weekly and usually weight 60-75lbs when loaded. They have survived the abuse of baggage handlers, and our road crew personnel very well. I purchased this one to replace one that was stolen. If you use this case for travel I strongly suggest engraving your name, phone number and company info on it. In addition to engraving we stencil our company name on them and phone number with Krylon Fusion plastic paint. It makes them easier to find at the airport and the engraving is almost impossible to remove without destroying the case. The case has provisions to attach a TSA (Transportation Security Administration) lock to it.
