The Pelican Storm iM3200 Case is very well constructed. The shell is rigid and thoughtfully designed to facilitate stable stacking of similar cases; there are recessed channels to prevent lateral movement and a back-stop so the case cannot slide off the back. Four well placed and sturdy pad-lockable tabs spanning the front side of the case are part of the mold. Six oustanding latches (four in front, one on each side) lock down the lid. The latches will not open accidentally during transport because there is a button on each latch which must be depressed in order to release the latch; the operation of these latches is simple and easy. The regular Pelican case does not use this positive locking feature; it is a carry over from Hardigg's design and definitely a superior latch. The interior foam is dense yet pliable. Custom fitting by tracing the object onto the foam then using an electric carving knife is very easy to accomplish. The case has wheels for ease of transport and handles that are very comfortable dense rubber. I have now purchased a second case and am completely satisfied with this product.
