The Stealth Cam Unit 8.0 MP Digital Infra Red Trail Camera (STC-U840IR) is designed to fit into the palm of your hand. This camera is so light weight and compact that you can just carry one in your pack and put it out when you find something that you want to scout. The Unit camera provides greater flexibility for applications to a wide variety of network environments. The Unit is 640 x 480 video trail camera with audio capabilities, recording 10-180 seconds of footage. Not only will you be able to see deer activity, you can hear it!
Adding to this new technology, the Unit Trail Camera includes Digital Video Stamping. This allows the user to review the time-coding of the captured video by monitoring the time, date, temperature and the moon phases of the footage. The Unit, with its newly advanced optical technology truly becomes the ultimate scouting tool for the hunter looking to maximize his time in the field by monitoring deer activity 24/7.
The 8.0 MP still image capability provides high resolution, clean, crisp photos of activity on your hunting location. The night-time images captured by the Unit are made possible through the use of the 38 IR (infrared) emitters with range control. The new microprocessor optimizes trigger time and when utilizing the patented Burst Mode Technology, trigger gap time is also reduced.
Special Burst Mode technology allows this Digital Infra Red Camera captures between one and nine images per triggering. The camera has 2x or 4x digital zoom making it possible to see features of game clearly. The patented Test Mode feature ensures the user is gaining maximum potential of the coverage area.
The Unit model also has an enhanced, easy-to-use icon-based programming screen, making the set up time quick and easy. The newly designed housing is not only rugged, but waterproof, as well. The Digital Scouting Camera is designed to operate using two different types of battery power options: eight "AA" cell batteries and 12 volts Lead Acid external battery (Recommended for extended field life).
