My five star rating is for the fantastic support I received in trying to get the adapter to work with my Surface Pro 4. Unfortunately it still does not work, but not for lack of patience and a very professional effort at troubleshooting. Microsoft seems to have an issue with the Mini-display port on that machine they have yet to fix.

This is a must if you own a Mac and you want to watch images & 4K Videos on a big screen without the extra cost !
I hooked my Mac Book Pro to my HDMI cable which is hooked to an HDMI cable that is hooked to my big smart TV and now I am enjoying photos & videos from my Laptop straight to my 4K TV with superb color & great surround Sound quality !
