Rarely worked, now not at all

Very frustrating, waste of money. The software drivers and application have always been tricky and inconsistent to install. The new capture pro software doesn't work at all on several Windows 10 machines. No signal. No reason. Cords are fine. Operating system is fresh.

Perfect budget capture

Used this to capture raw video from a camcorder into a laptop for a live stream setup. Used for hours at a time with zero issues

Lacks support

It does work well, but only on Windows systems, so those using OSX or Linux are out of luck. 1080p 30fps is kind of the bare minimum people want these days. More preferable would be 60fps at least for this price. As far as the included software goes. Very bare bones barely an effort is given for a decent intuitive UI. Certainly wouldn't recommend it to someone who isn't tech literate. They do have a fairly good and friendly online tech support. But my questions could have been answered if they provided better software. Third party software. So far quite slow in OBS. But in fairness OBS is a terribly buggy bit of software. Worked very well in Debut by NCH and got some nice clear good quality studio footage with my Lumix G7. It also live steamed without a hitch as well as a superb replacement for my awful in built webcam. I only hope that these companies start investing in providing IOS and Android support in future. So we can livestream adequately with our DSLR's in the field.

Seems like a good product

Product seems to generally get good reviews but specifics on hardware requirements ( processor; memory; etc) is non existent other than the OS supported and USB port. Would actually buy this product if this information is given.

Perfect for my needs
