Adds a screen to older laptop

I work for a small software development company, and we have couple of USB32HDEH and other StarTech products. These products have been dependable and helped use extend our laptops to 2 & 3 screen system which are vital for business productivity. Just a reminder, these adapter provide graphic performance adequate for Word, Excel, Visual Studio, and business apps. Games and other graphics performance applications will lag and have other quirky malfunctions.

Great product!

I wanted to connect an extra monitor to a Lenovo laptop and needed HDMI also. Finally I found this product and it worked like a charm! Very satisfied with it. A nice plus is the extra USB port, I attached my keyboard, mouse, webcam and USB DAC to it through a USB hub and it all works perfectly. StarTech gets on my trusted manufacturer list in case I need more in the future!

The StarTech USB32HDEH USB 3.0 to HDMI Adapter turns a USB 3.0 port into an HDMI output port with 1920x1200/1080p video support. The adapter features built-in USB 3.0 pass-through, which offers a connection port in place of the USB port used for connecting the HDMI adapter - an ideal workaround for Ultrabook or laptop users, where only a limited number of USB ports are available. Functioning as an external graphics card, this USB to HDMI adapter provides a convenient way to add multi-monitor capability to a USB 3.0-enabled desktop or laptop computer (optimal performance from USB 3.0, backward compatible with USB 2.0).
