I like the padding that is against my back, this bag is comfortable and holds everything thing I need for soccer game photos. Minus 1 star due to lack of chest strap.

Nice for a small run. j Not a fleixible design and not easy to access camera from side opening. Not enough space for little extra. Lacking a 1/2 inch in depth to set lenses and have much more space. But pretty bag and compact. At sale price worith it.

I would have given this 4.5 stars but that wasn't a choice. I agree with another reviewer that there really is no place for batteries and memory cards. I solved that problem by picking up a small zippered camera pouch (approx. 3"x5") at WalMart - not exactly what I want, but it will do. I am not a fan of backpacks but needed something that would hold all my camera paraphernalia and fit behind the passenger seat in our truck. This was perfect!. Everything fit - Tried to attach pictures as "show and tell" but apparently the computer isn't cooperating so I will try to describe. My Sony a580 with Tamron 17-50mm lens attached fits in the center compartment along with an ancient light meter. In the long compartment meant for a smaller tripod I fit my Sony 70-400mm telephoto, 4 filters in their "boxes", plus a bulb type "blower" for getting rid of dust; in the smaller compartments going clockwise from there I have a Tamron 16-300mm lens; a Tamron 90mm macro lens; a boxed set of extension tubes, a 1.4 teleconverter in its carrying bag, and a small camera case containing a Canon PowerShot SD 450 and charger; the last section contains a Vello wireless remote, the battery charger for the a580, a ring light, the small WalMart zipper pouch for batteries, etc. and an Adorama cleaning kit. I don't have a tablet so I store manuals, cleaning cloths, and a spiral notebook in the section made for a small laptop/ tablet. The pocket marked "Pocket" is the perfect size for my orienteering compass. The fully loaded backpack weighs 17.2 lbs. (I haven't tried attaching my tripod to the outside because this backpack is basically for car travel and the tripod fits elsewhere.) All in all this was a great buy and I am very glad I bought it. Thank you Adorama!

The backpack is well made and comfortable to use, but the title should really substitute the word "or" for "and". You can carry a 70-200mm lens, but not mounted. And unless you hang your tripod on the outside, you won't be able to stow a 70-200mm and a tripod at the same time. The compartment accessed from the top would handle a smaller m4/3, but you couldn't put a full size DSLR.or even a Nikon D7200 with kit lens in there and be able to remove it. This really is a nice case, and for me more convenient than a messenger bag. I'm happily using it to casually haul my camera around--it holds a D850 with grip and 24-70mm nicely. I'm not going to use it for serious shoots. I'll keep looking for the perfect camera bag, but I fear it's like searching for the Grail.

Fits my Canon EOS 70D with EF-S 18-135/3.5-5.6 IS STM attached, plus Canon EF-S 10-18/4.5-5.6 IS STM, 24/2.8 IS STM and EF-S 55-250 IS STM in three other compartments. The full-height side compartment takes my Cullmann Concept One travel tripod almost perfectly (some maneuvering needed for good fit). The tablet pocket can easily swallow my Amazon Kindle Fire 9" plus writing pad and a couple of slim cardboard folders. Two downsides to this backpack. One: there are only two slim outside pockets, one of which carries my Samsung Galaxy cellphone, the other of similar size--well, I still haven't figured out what I can use this pocket for. Two: most of the dividers inside can't be reconfigured. This bag fits my kit, but may not suit every DSLR user.

Awesome design and great functionality! The zipper being on the back is awesome as you don't have to worry about theft so much. Can easily fit my camera, a few lens, a flash and monolight all in the same bag.

Needed a backpack to carry my DSLR and several lenses plus a flash. The equipment fit well and everything was easy to carry and comfortable while in use. The quality is above standard and will last through many years of use.

This bag is great for Urban shooting. It's the right size to carry the camera equipment you need for shooting protests, spot new, etc. It hold a 15 inch laptop for the photojournalist on the go.

Love the way the zipper is towards the back. Plenty of padding.

The inside of the bag is fine, plenty of room for a body with a 70-200MM lens plus an extra lens and a flash. The problem is that to get into the compartment, you need to flip the straps all the way over the edges. The zipper sits flush to your body. It's really inconvenient. There is an access "door" to unclip and reach in, but the clasp is big and clunky and I couldn't pull my camera through the opening even when I had the smaller lens attached. Then there are not a lot of zipper compartments--just one little one on each side of the case. The opening flap doesn't have any zip compartments, the big outside surface has plenty of room but no zip compartments for things that like to escape like extra memory cards, batteries, pens, business cards, wallet etc. Nice bag from a quality standpoint, and I got a great deal on it, but the design doesn't work for me. Frustrating.

Exactly as expected, everything's great with it. Camera, 3 flashes, 3 lenses and accessories all fit comfortably and organized in the compartments. Got it on a flash sale and couldn't be happier with it.

Bought this as I have two lenses I wanted to take hiking, to ball games, etc. The internal compartments are limited in the way that they move so I was not able to carry my 70-200 f2.8 and my 24-70. The compartments are not like other backpacks that I have seen. They are sewn into place so the inside will not configure to support my camera and lenses. Will be looking to return it for one that supports the camera and lenses better.

Manfrotto backpack camera bag
By George B.
Very good sturdy bag.
The Black Veloce V Backpack from Manfrotto is a slightly smaller version of the Manfrotto Veloce VII backpack. If you can't get the shot with all the gear this bag holds, you're doing something wrong. It's rated to hold a DSLR with or without a grip and a 70-200 attached - and held in a shooting position - plus an additional 2-3 lenses, flash, small accessories; and if that isn't enough, a 17" (43.2cm) Apple laptop or a 15.4" (38.1cm) non-Apple laptop. On the outside, the pack is made from rugged, water-resistant nylon.
This is a shooter's pack - and the reason it is stems from the marvelous ability to access the main compartment from the top via the top zippered flap secured by a touch fastener. Isn't it wonderful knowing you can retrieve your camera (with lens attached) without having to open the entire bag? In the middle of a crowd, that's a real security bonus. Strap your tripod to the back with the included connections. Inside the Veloce V, there are movable, touch fastened dividers that you can arrange to suit whatever gear you need to carry on a given day.
The camera and 70-200 are held securely on a handy L Bracket that supports the body/lens combo in a face-down position. Open the top flap, remove the setup, get your shot, slip the combo back inside, reseal the flap and you're off to your next shot. In addition, the Veloce V has a protective, slip-in 17" laptop pocket. Stop for lunch, remove your computer, email your shots, make some notes, write a letter or work in Photoshop. Finished? Slip it back in its place and, again, you're on your way. And, before you leave, access the organizer pocket where your iPhone, PDA, pens, business cards or other small items are stored.
As an added feature, if you don't want your tripod secured on the outside of the bag, you have the option to store it inside the bag, protected in its own section by the padded dividers. What a blessing when traveling. Since the Veloce V is airline carry-on rated, you won't have to ship your tripod through as luggage. When you arrive at your destination, you'll have all your gear at hand. And speaking of tripods, there's an interesting and very functional integrated pocket that is perfect for fitting Manfrotto pocket series tripods.
The back straps are adjustable and comfortable making this an easy pack to tote around. At a very reasonable price, this backpack gives you all the benefits and features that make it appealing to anyone who spends time outside or who travels and needs a pack that can hold a world of gear securely and comfortably.
