I had never used a geared head but doing tabletop photography was never easier or better. I don't know about other brands of gear heads but this one is great. I have had it only 2 weeks but would not want to go back to my old way. So far I cannot think of anything I don't like about it.

This high-quality geared head is an upgrade from the existing GH-PRO II, now featuring a GC-01 geared clamp for precise adjustments in all directions, enhancing your photo composition capabilities.
This sturdy gear head offers independent adjustment in four ways: base horizontal panning, fore-aft tilt, lateral tilt, and top panning. These features allow for seamless and interference-free photo composition. The exquisite gear drive ensures easy photo composition without the need to lock the head, providing a smooth and efficient operation.
Constructed with an all-metal gear system, this durable gear head guarantees stability, eliminating any wobbling. Its hollowed-out lightweight design enhances portability without compromising on strength. The gear head offers an adjustable range of 80 degrees bi-laterally and 170 degrees back and forth, easily controlled by the lateral adjustment-knob or the quick-adjust crank-handle.
The GH-PROII+ Geared Head features a quick-release Arca standard clamp compatible with most quick-release plates, enhancing its versatility. It also boasts a dual 360-degree panoramic function, allowing for comprehensive panoramic shooting. The top panning lock-knob and panning base lock-knob provide control over the head's rotation.
The two-in-one adjustment knobs offer both quick-adjustment and fine-tuning capabilities. The quick-adjust crank-handle can be pulled out to easily adjust the head angle, while the lateral or fore-aft tilt adjustment knob allows for precise control over the tilt angle of the head. For vertical shooting, the head can be tilted at a 90-degree angle using the lower adjustment knob.
The base of the GH-PROII+ Geared Head features a 3/8" thread socket, making it compatible with most types of tripods. Note that the panning clamp gear adjustment knob can be adjusted regardless of whether the base lock-knob is tightened or loosened. This versatile, high-quality geared head is designed to support a maximum load capacity of 1 to 10 lbs, accommodating a wide range of camera and lens combinations.
