Would buy again. Cool White light is on one side & Warm White light is on the other side. Dimmable. cheaper than the signature light stick (that I have also used)

After taking this Lightstick out on several still and video shoots, I have to give it five stars. It's the best lighting unit for tight-fit industrial locations like line kitchens, POS areas, etc. and the battery aspect eliminates the need for AC outlet location 98% of the time. On longer sessions the Lightstick works fine while plugged into the AC charger. Great bright light, and both "daylight" and tungsten sides give lovely coverage. The battery runs down in the case between uses but seems to recharge quickly enough.

The light from the Lightstick is on the yellow green side when set to daylight which may or may not be a problem depending on what other light sources you are mixing it with. But the major problem I find with them is when using with a video camera. At anything other than 100% power, there is a visible flicker in the video. I have tested this with a Panasonic GH4, LX1000, and a Sony FS100. All three cameras exhibited the flicker. So if I want to use these lights for video, I have to make sure that they are set to 100% output.

I have not put this to use as yet. But it is very bright at full power. Seems to have a solid build quality and battery life is very good too. I'm not sure how it measures up against the ICE light but for the difference in price it's a winner. I've also heard the ICE light isn't very bright. Anyway, this should work out really well for detail shots at weddings.
