Comparable clamps from other manufacturers are stupid expensive, so I chose this as a starting point for panoramas. Added the AM-02 Arca Dovetail Mounting Plate to the bottom so it could be used with existing ballhead. The quality is MUCH better than expected, with the rotation being silky smooth. Bubble level is spot on. Very pleased.

It seems there are lots of problems where switching from bolt on to arca plates makes sense. This works really well and provides a pretty nice pan feature too. And the price isn't unreasonable either.
