Well machined appears very stable and is capable of securing a D850 and sigma 14 - 24 Art.   Assembly instructions could have been better.  Almost infinitive adjustments and angles.  Have not seen nor purchased this brand before but with adorama’s great return policy I took a calculated risk and I am glad that I did.  I would buy this again.

Comparing the SunwayFoto Pano1 to products in the same capacity/rigidity range, it compares well.  It has two big advantages over other products:  It comes in at a favorable price compared to other players in the field, and it includes a leveling head component at that price.
The East/West (horizontal) capacity is greater than most of the others, so if you are trying to use this for a 6x7 or other wide medium format it might be your first choice.  I see the tilt axis as being maybe a bit fussy - users need to make sure that the single mounting screw stays tight, and the vertical rail may not be quite as rigid to the rig as competitors so it may require gentle use to avoid slippage, but at this price point I think it is a good compromise for a hobbyist or professional to get involved in equirectangular panoramic photography at a bearable price point and not have to buy a more expensive rig later.  I can't speak to mfr product support - this is manufactured off-shore.  If I were solidly in the pro panoramic market i would go with the Nodal Ninja which is a bit more rigid and has superb customer support in Arizona, but these are also not complicated devices - your tolerance and ingenuity at working around potential problems could save you some money over the more polished US-made product.
