Excellent fit and finish, comparable to the “ Really Expensive Stuff” just no storage for the hex key. Conforms perfectly to the baseplate of XT-2

The two-piece design allows you flexibility: if you don't need to mount to your head in portrait mode (or you have a ball head that handles this), simply leave it off, and get unfettered access to the connections behind the door. With the 2nd piece attached, the door opens completely, and gives you access to the connections. Beyond the flexibility, this bracket has excellent build quality, is both sturdy and lightweight, and you can't beat the price!

This fist perfectly and keeps the camera still - so in my book it does what I need it to do.

This L bracket is great. It is a third of the price of RRS and fits just as tight to the camera. The machining is well done and it fits the camera.

Nicely packaged just like the other SunwayFoto; however, the notch on the L-plate section is too small to accommodate the ring that goes on camera strap lug, unlike the Kirk and RRS versions which have a larger gap. The unit that I received also was not at 90 deg when the screws were tightened 90 deg. . . .more like 88 deg.

Everything about this L-bracket is great, except for one failure: there is a strap holder built in the right side of the bottom plate, which makes a "sharp" ending and touches my right palm. Every time I hold the camera, it digs into my palm... This single failure makes it unusable for me.

Hay, it works and great price. Ability to detach/attach on side of L- bracket was a selling point for me. Works great.

I ordered this with some hesitation. I have been a Really Right Stuff fan for years. All of my other camera L-plates, lens plates, clamps, tripod and monopod heads, etc, etc are RRS. But this time I needed to save some money, so I gave this a try. I haven't really put it to the test yet, but the fit and quality seem very, very good. So far, I am pleasantly surprised and very pleased with this purchase.

It is always mounted to the camera, it gives you a little more grip on the camera and works great on my RSS ball head. and does the job perfectly. Everything is available, the battery compartment the accessory area for the remote etc. works as it is supposed to. No complaints. I would recommend it.

Thus is a good alternative to other expensive brackets, I have used them all. This allows access to the doors. I dont need to tether a lot vertically so the cable issue does not bother me. It fits perfect, has a nice finish, cannot beat the price.

I have been waiting several months for this Sunway bracket to be available from a USA based retailer. All edges and corners are very smooth and the fit to the camera is excellent. As good as the big name L brackets but for a lot less money. I like the fact that this a two piece unit. I leave the lower horizontal portion on my camera for protection and I now have something for my pinky finger to grip (for a better total camera grip). I have been using a Sunway L bracket on my Nikon D600 for several years and it has protected my camera on a couple of occasions. It has never once become loose and I have not tighten it for a couple of years.

Sunwayfoto PFL-XT2 Custom L Bracket for Fujifilm X-T2 is CNC-machined from aluminum alloy. The PFL-XT2 is a two piece design, it consists of a standard base plate and side vertical plate which can be disassembled easily whenever needed.. The PFL-XT2 L Bracket from Sunwayfoto enables reliable camera support for both horizontal and vertical shooting on a tripod or monopod. It is dedicated custom design for the Fujifilm X-T2 and is compatible with both Arca-type and RRS lever clamps.
A convex edge design holds the camera to prevent twisting or shifting during use and safety stop screws prevent accidental slipping during installation or removal. The left side of the bracket features a broad gap to allow unrestricted access to the camera's ports and the skeleton-style design helps to minimize the overall weight. With Arca-style dovetails incorporated on both sides of the bracket, as well as a durable aluminum alloy construction, this L bracket benefits a faster and more efficient tripod workflow.
Arca-style dovetails on both sides of the bracket are compatible with both Arca and Really Right Stuff style clamps and permit quick switching between horizontal and vertical shooting orientations.
A convex edge design prevents the camera from twisting or shifting when attached. Additionally, safety stop screws prevent accidental slipping when during installation and removal.
The left side of the bracket features a gap to permit full access to all of the camera's ports.
Skeleton-style design minimizes the overall weight while a CNC-machined aluminum alloy construction, with black anodized finish, benefits its durability.
Why Use L-Brackets
L-Brackets allow you to quickly mount your camera on your tripod either landscape or portrait. Shaped like the letter "L", the bracket has two sets of mounting dovetails, mount using either set of dovetails. No need to flop your camera over and down into the notch on your ball head to go vertical. Instead, use an L-bracket and save yourself the hassle and time you'd have to spend recomposing your photo. An L-bracket also keeps your load centered directly on the tripod's apex - where you can retain the best vibration damping and balance of the tripod.
