Sweet mini design for a small carbon fiber tripod, hinestly I'm smitten at how well this handles a large full frame camera and macro lens! Well Done!

It's not Kirk or RRS, but still well made.
Having the second pano option on the clamp is very convenient. No need to spend time leveling the tripod. Just level with the ball head and rotate the clamp for the pano.

Well made, especially for the price. Pano on the clamp is GREAT.

This is really solid and supports more weight than specified. Rock solid with my Nikon D500 and 70-200 2.8. I’m very happy with it, but wish the main ball lock lever was a bit longer. I have a pretty typical tripod and the ball head lever just barely clears the tripod plate. Still a keeper at 50% of the price of bigger ball heads.

Super solid but might not be for all tripods

I purchased the low profile SunwayFoto XB-28II ball head and mounted it on my Manfrotto #243 Car Window Clamp. They work great together. Solid. Easy to use.

I ended up returning this ball head because the Arca-Swiss compatible plates that I have for my camera bodies as well as the Arca-Swiss compatible “feet” on my longer telephotos are all much larger (longer) than the small platform area of the ball head’s clamp. There are different sizes of Arca-Swiss plates. All are the same width and have the specified taper on the two clamped edges. But lengths vary considerably. This head was just too short to safely hold my bodies or long lenses. Construction quality was good and it’s a real bargain. Just too small for my needs.

It’s OK If...

I was completely shocked by the quality of this ballhead. It supports weight very nicely for it's size. No slipping of any kind so far. Very well worth the money.

Sunway Ballhead

I purchased the Sunway Foto ballhead and put it on my Platypod.  It works great with it's low center of gravity and the ability to carry my Nikon D 750.  The low center of gravity makes it easy to carry while attached to the Platypod.  It makes a great combination when you cannot take a tripod with you

SunwayFoto XB-28II Fit's the bill

Amazing for the price. This ball head essentially allows for 3 different camera angle adjustments. Great for small tripods when traveling. Quickly mounted on my flexible tripod ( Joby ). Allows very easy panoramas with my Pentax Optio camera. It allows my camera to make a 3 frame panorama with limited corrections due to overlaps and leveling errors. Packs, mounted on my short tripod, in my backpack. Also includes a quick mount to make quick transition from hand held to tripod. very well constructed.

Excellent rugged travel ball head

I bought this to replace the BH on my current travel tripod as it is fixed.  This BH hold the camera securely and with the twist of a knob the head swivels.
