Better than you might think
I purchased a very similar model about 6 years ago. I have used it all over the place for 10's of thousands of photos. Others, with significantly more expensive brands have commented that it seemed better than they expected. I finally replaced the pistol grip head with a better ball head, as I was using a heavier camera/lens setup, and the grip style just wasn't strong enough. Get one, you might just be surprised.

AWESOMENESS
This a spare quick release to put on the 600 mm lens. It works just like the original that came with the pistol grip for tri pod. I love the quick release system. Holds the camera and lens without movement

Does the job

Works perfectly

Not sturdy enough.
This Tripod was not sturdy enough for my Nikon D7000 DSLR with Battery pack. The ball head was to small for the weight.
