I spent some time researching ring lights before purchasing, if you're reading this chances are you're already pretty sick of sifting through all the options. To cut to the point, this is a good, bright, sturdy ring light. If you want a more detailed analysis from the perspective of a picky buyer, here goes: I needed bright, but also need to be picky about a few features pertaining to my necessity for a ring light. I am a videographer, so evenly distributed light beyond that of simply needing to provide light in an otherwise dark environment was a necessity. I am also a barber, and that is my primary reason for this purchase. I wanted brightness with a particularly "cool" option color-wise. I really wanted a 6500K extension, but this unit peaking out at 5600 proves to be just fine. I needed to have my cake and eat it too with the aforementioned brightness accompanied by this light being comfortable in clients' faces for longer durations. (i.e., longer than an average photoshoot or portrait session) The integrated diffusion panel seems to do a good job accomplishing this. The build quality is fine for the price point as well. All-in-all, this is a solid purchase from a reputable brand, and up to this point, it is proving to be a worthwhile purchase that covers my needs. For what it is worth, if this unit was pretty much any price point beyond that of what it already is, I'd drop it to 4 stars simply based on its lacking in a longer temperature coverage and lux.
