Smith Victor 45i

I needed some small reliable flash units that don't take up a lot of space. That will travel well and be versatile. These are great little units that carry a big punch for such a small unit. I also like the fact you can remove the tube cover and add color gels, and neutral density gels. I and Smith and Victor go back a long way. Their products helped then and still do. Thanks for giving us such a great-priced flash init. Carl Wilkins

Great little unit

Love this product thusfar! Owned a master slave prior to purchasing the Smith Victor and the recycle time was insane! Take a photo and it is ready to go immediately! Use primarily for hairlight and am more than pleased!

Great value

I got a couple of these to augment my studio set up and also to use on location in practical lighting fixtures. Pro - Great to backlight my subject or light the background. Con - they're not adjustable powerwise. However, the front lens is removable and I was able to cut some .6ND filter paper to fit inside to lower the flash output when needed. Get the SV AC Socket & Cord Set with Umbrella Holder and Light Stand Mount [...] for a great little portable lighting setup.
