Great LED light for Video
This unit works as described. The fan is almost inaudible and when Placed about 3-4 feet away is not noticeable on the audio using a boom mike. The light output is good with regard to color temp and strength. I like that I can use an umbrella with the included reflector and use the universally accepted Bowens mount to attack other light modifiers, should I desire. The Smith-Victor CooLED100 is designed to provide the light intensity that a studio photographer and/or videographer needs, but without the heat or energy usage that conventional light sources use. It uses a single 100 watt (energy usage) LED that produces light equal to 1000 watts when the 8" reflector is attached to it. The light output is adjustable yet the color temperature of the light stays a constant daylight (5200deg.K). Mounts to any standard 5/8" light stand spigot. Complete with 8" Bowen's mount style reflector that will accept a standard umbrella, shower cap style diffuser and protective cap.
