Shopper : will this item play mp3 encoded disks?DONNA B : Update: the president of Magnasonic returned our call after I bypassed the customer service department. he resolved our issue. He was very nice, compliant and willing to replace our product. He was extremely concerned about providing great customer service and I am very pleased with the outcome.DONNA B : I bought this as a gift so I am not sure about mp3. I think it does. But you may want to look at other items and trusted name brands. The dvd player screen has never worked and we are getting the run around with our 1 year warranty from the manufacturer....their customer service sucks and they will not fix our product. It was brand new out of the box and the lcd//dvd never worked and they don't want to honor their warranty. They are out of Canada as well so if I can appeal their decision and get my item fixed, I have to pay for shipping to canada plus duty taxes. Big red flag...do not buy from Magnasonic.
Darlene R : If it does have sound from dvd or cd what I'm I doing wrong?ABDULAI A : I was able to listen to sound from both CD and DVD. Make sure you switch to what you want to listen.
Rita M : Can you skip to certain part of cd instead of only playing from start?ANDREW R : This unit offers a full set of controls, you should be able to skip ahead, skip backwards and select the next track via the included remote control unit.
