Smith-Victor MG63 5-Section Tripod/Monopod Kit with QR Ball Head

The new Smith-Victor Tripod-Monopod Kit is designed for maximum portability and stability. Made of magnesium alloy, this tripod is stronger and 30% lighter than a comparable aluminum tripod. Weighing in at only 3.25 lbs. it will support equipment up to 17 lbs. The tripod is 63" tall yet it closes down to only 15.75" making it very easy to take almost anywhere.

Featuring 5-section, 25mm diameter legs. and a built-in monopod, this kit gives all of the stability of a well made tripod with the added flexibility of a monopod. The 5-section legs lock independently allow the tripod to be set Upon very uneven surfaces. The secure flip-locks provide for quick and easy set up or break down. The removable and reversible center column enables shots from as low as 8.75" from the ground and one of the legs is removable allowing it to be used as a monopod.

The ball head enables very fast adjustment of the camera for any angle shot while the quick release plate makes mounting of the camera to the tripod simple and fast. Bubble levels on the head for easy horizontal or vertical alignments.
