Shopper : Does this transmitter only get 6 tv channels?RODNEY H : The "channels" for this product are not tv channels. The channels refer to product itself. It broadcasts whatever you plug into it. The receiver and transmitter have to be on the same channel in order to see what you play through it. It is similar to setting a VCR to broadcast on Channel 3. The TV must be set to channel 3 in order to see what the VCR is playing. Out of the box the receiver and transmitter are set to the same channel. You only need to change it, if the picture is not clear. You have to change it on both.
gail P : I have a 13 in tv in my office that is not hooked up to my Direct tv system. Will I be able to use this transmitter without having satellite wiring to this tv?DAVID J : This unit uses video jacks. This means that the device connected to the transmitter must have a video-out jack, and the device connected to the receiver must have a video-in jack. As long as the units are in range and set up properly it will be as you connected both ends with a long video cable.RICHARD M : If your set top box transmit side has RCA jack outputs (R,W,Y), and your TV, receiver side does also, you should be able to use this. It works quite well within a range of 400 feet.ALBERT H : Yes. I use this to send my Dish Network signal to a TV in the garage. Works great.
