Shopper : Why Did You Choose This?BRINDA A : Swann Magnetic Window and Door Alarm was shown in a video by law enforcement as being recommended security for doors and windows. I read several customer reviews and they were happy with their purchases and said the sound quality was loud and was heard 150 ft. away from the alarm by a neighbor.

There great knowing you have

There great knowing you have a big noise that will wake you if your sleeping. Great for the screen doors allowing you to let fresh air in with a feeling of security while doing your thing around the house. Ive also carried one while walking around the streets alone incase someone with bad intentions starts to follow me with the easy on and off switch fairl accessible if you take the cover off and add extra tape to the batteries so they dont fall out . Just a handy little item.

on/off switch in wrong place

on/off switch should be on the outside of unit, not under the cover. I want to put it on at night and take it off in the morning, To do this I have to leave the cover off and look at the batteries all the time. The look of the unit therefore is not sleek.
