The Swann DVR8-1000 8-Channel 500GB HDD DVR with Eight Pro-530 Cameras gives you the tools you need to install a 24/7 surveillance system that can record and display up to 1920x1080 video at 30 fps. It has a 500GB hard drive installed on the single SATA port that has the capacity to be upgraded later with drives up to 2TB. This full pentaplex system features multiple recording modes including manual, motion-detection and scheduled. This enables you to capture what you need to without wasting memory space. The DVR supports remote access through most Internet browsers with the included MyDVR software installed on a computer, or from an Android or iOS mobile device with free SwannView app installed. Alert emails can also be programmed to be sent when certain events occur, with an optional still-image attached. The DVR also supports a single PTZ camera.

The eight Pro-530 cameras feature 1/3" CMOS Swann TruColor sensors and 4.8mm lenses with a 58deg. viewing angle. To go with the DVR's high-res capabilities, they have 728x488 resolution at 600TVL. These day/night cameras feature 24 IR LEDs that provide a night vision range of up to 65' and their housings are IP67 rated to be water and dustproof for outdoor use. To make installation easier, each camera comes with 60' of pre-terminated video/power cable and two transformer to power four cameras each.
