The Laptop LockAlarm from Swann is an excellent way to protect your laptop computer from theft. Straightforward to use, this device comes with a Kensington lock that attaches to your computer's security slot as well as a high-tensile retractable cable that can form a loop of up to 24" or 60cm. To secure your laptop, you simply run the cable around the leg of a table, for instance, then through the Kensington lock that's attached to your computer and then to the LockAlarm itself.

The LockAlarm has a tab that connects to the end of the cable and secures that cable with a three digit combination lock.
